Ilu-launch ang nabuong all-male group sa ASAP '09 na Voizboys sa pamamagitan ng one-night show sa Metro Bar sa August 8. Ang mga bumubuo ng grupo ay sina Guji Lorenzana, Jay-R Siaboc, Nico Antonio, at Ronnie Liang.

Ayon kay Guji, "Our group was an accident talaga for ASAP. It was for a segment in ASAP. One day, they put me with Nico, Jay-R, and Ronnie, nag-click sa stage. That was March of this year and then after that, yung reception ng audience worldwide, ang daming nag-comment sa Internet. Kaya sabi ni Mr. M [Johnny Manahan], maybe we can start, we can make a group. At that time, wala pang name, wala pang Voizboys."

Masaya si Guji na nakasama siya sa Voizboys dahil napu-fulfill daw nito ang talagang hilig niya.

"My first love is music," aniya. "I'm not an actor, e. In the States, I was in a band. So, this is a beginning of something new. Right now, I asked the group, I asked Ronnie if I can write song. I love to write a song. I wrote a new song for Voizboys. Hopefully, it will be in an album. Tapos may plan na baka magkaroon ng major concert sa February of next year, so I'm looking [forward to] that also."

GUJI, THE ACTOR. Pagdating naman sa acting, isa sa mga unang attempt ni Guji sa pag-arte ay ang Precious Hearts Romances Presents Bud Brothers, kung saan silang dalawa ni Kaye Abad ang naging mag-partner.

"Okay naman," sabi ni Guji. "The cast is supportive and Direk Cathy Garcia was able to bring out the acting in me, yung background ko sa theater, so it's a different method. Tapos yung Tagalog ko, medyo mahirap kasi galing ako sa States.           

"And because Kaye Abad is veteran na rin in acting, since she's been acting a long time na, so she was able to help me. I was comfortable naman to work with her, kasi she's very malambing and she's very maalaga sa akin. I was so nervous, e. But she was able to guide me, she was able to help me memorize my lines."

Masasabi ba niyang blessing in disguise na nag-backout sa episode nila sa Bud Brothers si Roxanne Guinoo?

"Yes and no," sagot ni Guji. "I was sad because I was excited to work with Roxanne. Ang daming buildup, ang daming publicity. She was there in the presscon. We bonded na, we have workshop na. We became friends na and I'm excited to work with her.

"But I understand naman where she's coming from. I understand that she's trying to do different now with her career. She wants to go back to something that she's used to, so I'm used to that.

"Blessing in disguise din kasi it's a comeback for Kaye. And it's also good for me because the support she gave me, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get that from Roxanne... She wasn't so willing, you know," paliwanag niya.

Hindi ba siya na-offend nang mag-backout si Roxanne?

"Honestly? Honestly, I thought it was my fault. Is it because I'm new? Is it because bago pa ako sa industriya? So, I was afraid baka it was my fault. But I knew that when we were in workshop, we're friends. So, maybe not..." sagot ni Guji.

TEAM-UP WITH KAYE. Masaya naman si Guji dahil hindi rin daw niya inaasahan ang nabuong following sa team-up nila ni Kaye.

"Yung following namin, sobrang overwhelming, wow!" bulalas ni Guji. "Within a matter of few days lang, nabuo yung KG. May bagong fans club, it's called KG and it's on Pinoy Exchange. Overwhelming talaga! I'm assuming, kasi yung following ni Kaye, from before pa. So, when they saw yung chemistry namin sa TV, then they followed us as well."
