Donna Villa sees most of the protesters as people with too much time on their hands: "You know, this people, I think, mostly are retired.

Tayo ngang lahat tinutulungan n'yo kaming i-revive yun.
"E, wala kami. Noong nasa Cebu kami, nagsu-shooting kami ru'n. So, mga a week after pa kami dumating, e. So, yung plaque, hindi namin gaanong naano... until now. E, bising-bisi tayo.
"Pero tayong lahat—look at you, interviewing—nagtatrabaho pa tayo. Sana maintindihan nila."
ISSUES.
"Ang mga reklamo nila, mainly, the process daw of selecting. But as you have heard the chairman, ang selection committee, lalo na sila, NCCA, lalo na ang CCP, is only recommendatory. Do you understand what that word means? They recommend. Meaning, kung saan ka na-recommend, he or she can reject it, di ba?
"So ang Presidente, she has the prerogative to add or to minus... siguro naman si Carlo, the title itself, National Artist, connotes the perimeter of national honor. Ano 'yan, e... pambansa, national."
"You know, you cannot go technical on this anymore. Lahat talaga tayo, let's bond together and try to help the industry.
Piracy... so dapat magtulong-tulong tayo. Hindi naman ganyan. Sabi ko nga, sila hindi ko kilala. Kapag nanalo sila, hindi naman tayo nagra-rally. Hindi naman tayo nagpupunta sa TV, nagluluksa."
PROTESTERS.
Mainly, it's a small group from CCP, I guess.
"Because it's NCCA and they're okay, di ba?"
Pipigilan daw sa Malacañang ng Concerned Artists of the Philippines ang magiging proclamation sa kanyang asawa. Anong masasabi niya rito?
"You know, this is a free country. They can do what they want."
