Hindi na nakaiwas ang Asia's Queen of Songs na si Pilita Corrales sa mga tanong tungkol sa matagal nang usap-usapan na paghihiwalay ng anak niyang si Jackie Lou Blanco sa mister nitong si Ricky Davao.
Balita kasing matagal na raw naghiwalay sina Jackie Lou at Ricky, pero sa isang bahay pa rin sila nakatira. Nagsasama lang daw sila para sa kanilang mga anak. May balita pa nga na ang karelasyon ngayon ni Ricky ay isang publisher ng isang kilalang publishing company sa Pilipinas.
Sabi ni Pilita sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), matagal na raw niyang naririnig ang tsismis na ito at ilang tao na raw ang nagtanong nito sa kanya. Most of these people daw ay mga close family friends pa nila.

"Ako naman, bilang ina nila, I want them to be happy sa kanilang pamilya. I want them na maayos. Pero I don't want to meddle in their family problems if ever na meron man sila. It's their life, it's their family, sila na mag-ayos niyan. Nandito ako just in case they need moral support or anything na makakatulong ang Mamita nila.
"Pero sa mga tanong nga if they are separated, hindi totoo. If they want proof, sina Jackie at Ricky na lang ang tanungin nila about that rumor. For sure na tatawanan lang nila 'yan," saad ng Asia's Queen of Songs.
LOTLOT & MONCHING. Naitanong din kay Pilita ang pag-alis ng kanyang ex-daughter-in-law na si Lotlot de Leon papuntang U.S. Sa pagkakaalam ni Pilita ay gusto raw hanapin ni Lotlot ang kanyang biological American father. Para sa mga hindi nakakaalam, si Lotlot ay ampon ng Superstar na si Nora Aunor at ng dati nitong asawa na si Christopher de Leon.
"May nagsabi lang sa akin na umalis siya. Nasabi rin 'yan sa akin ni Monching [Ramon Christopher] and we all pray na sana ay maging okey siya doon. And we also like it na magkita na sila ni Nora. Matagal din silang hindi nagkausap at nagkita, sana maayos na ang anumang tampuhan nilang mag-ina.
"After naman na maghiwalay sila ni Monching, hindi ko na nakausap si Lotlot. Ayaw niya akong kausapin when I asked her kung gusto niyang mag-usap kami. I heard kasi na sinisisi niya ako sa paghihiwalay nila ni Monching.
"Hindi ako galit kay Lotlot because she's like my own daughter," paglilinaw ni Pilita. "Mahal ko siya at ang mga apo ko sa kanya. I would just like to talk to her, pero siya ang ayaw. Kaya I pray na lang na one day, we would be able to talk things out.
"Ngayon, I guess she wants a life of her own. That's good kasi nga matagal na niyang gustong mahanap ang biological father niya. I wish her the best parati. Kung makahanap siya ng bagong partner sa U.S., well then, it's good for her."
Wala naman daw problema sa side ni Monching dahil matagal na raw nitong tanggap na hindi na sila magkakabalikan ni Lotlot.
"As for Monching, he has moved on na," sabi ni Pilita. "He has accepted eberything na and that's a good thing for him to do. I want him to go on with his life. Nandito naman kaming family niya to help him parati.
"Nasa kanya lahat ng anak nila ni Lotlot. Malalaki na silang lahat. Janine will be graduating na in March 2010 from UP. Si Jessica naman is also in college na. Diego naman is in high school at napakaguwapo. The youngest sa kanila na si Maxine is now 10 years old. Ang ganda at tisay na tisay. Mana sa mga magulang niya!" tawa niya.
THE DIVA & THE DEBONAIRE. Bongga pa rin ang singing career ni Pilita dahil tuluy-tuloy pa rin ang pagpe-perform niya. Tulad nga sa November 13 ay may concert siya with Rico J. Puno sa Music Museum titled The Diva and The Debonaire.
"It's my first time to do a show with Rico, who was known noong '70s as the Total Entertainer. First time na kaming dalawa lang kaya nakaka-excite, kasi baliw itong si Rico, e. Sabi ko nga, ang dapat na title ng show namin ay 'Ang Bastos at ang Demure.' Hindi ba, ang lagi nilang sinasabi kay Rico ay bastos ito?
"Pero sa totoo lang, he's just a naughty guy. Para lang siyang bata na hindi na lumaki. Makulit lang si Rico, pero he's not bastos. Yung mga jokes lang niya ang bastos kasi. Kahit na niloloko niya ako parati about my legs and cleavage, natatawa lang ako sa kanya kasi I know this guy very well.
"And our show naman is produced para may mga matulungan kami na maraming tao. The proceeds of our show will be given to the Philippine Green Building Council who makes the houses for Habitat for Humanity. It's headed by Illac Diaz at maganda ang projects nila, to give affordable and safe homes sa maraming tao na wala pang mga bahay. Kami ni Rico, we always do shows for charity. Sabi nga nila, it's the giving that makes things more meaningful in our life."
