Last Thursday, October 22, at the Lee Fashion Event, Robin Padilla graced the catwalk uneasily but with bravado. He admitted at an interview segment on Startalk yesterday, October 24, that he had felt unsettled and didn't really want to walk the ramp at the fashion event, but thanks to the prodding of his fashionable sister BB Gandanghari, the action star eventually agreed.

As it turned out, the fashion show also served as a family reunion for the Padillas. Mom Eva Cariño Padilla went to watch her son walk the runway.

"Guwapo!" gushed the proud mom. "Nagulat ako, e!"

"HINDI KO LINYA 'ITO!" Robin himself was a little stunned over what he did at the show. "Hanggang ngayon hindi pa ako makapaniwala na gumawa ako ng ganito," he added. "Sa katunayan, e, kung hindi dahil doon sa adhikain nila na para ito sa kababayan natin na nasalanta, e hindi ko siguro gagawin ito, e."

Then with a sheepish smile he admitted, "Hindi ko linya ito!"

Sister BB, however, put her brother's mind at ease by giving him some sound advice on how to do the fashion walk. She shared, "Sabi ko sa kanya, 'Basta isipin mo na ikaw ang pinakaguwapong lalaki ngayong gabi.' E, totoo naman. Tapos sabi ko, pag lumakad ka, parang sa parking lot lang papunta sa kotse mo at madilim."

The two famous Padilla siblings have been seeing at lot of each other lately as plans for their movie project slowly unfold. For now, all that has been revealed is that Robin is  the producer and BB is the main star.

"Naniniwala ako sa kakayahan ni BB," a proud Robin said. "At bilang kapatid niya, kailangan suportahan ko kung ano ang gusto niyang gawin. Sabi niya sa akin, gusto niya gumawa ng action. Sabi ko, 'Ibang tao nga tinutulungan ko, ikaw pa? Sige, ako fight director mo!'"

BB gave little detail on the film's story. For now, all that she has shared is that it is about a prostitute who, under grievous circumstances, goes behind bars. Robin, of course, is one of the few people who know the whole story and he didn't hesitate to give his opinion on it.

"Ang ganda ng project niya," he said. "Siya magdi-direct—'Directed by Rustom Padilla. Ang starring si BB Gandanghari!'"

NEW CAR AS DOWN PAYMENT? It has been reported here that BB was given a brand new Honda CRV by Robin and it was rumored to be a down payment for her upcoming film. Is this true?

"Kuwinento niya sa akin yun," Robin said. "Maliit kasi sasakyan niya at nahirapan siya pag taping. Sabi ko, kung ako ba producer niya ano ba kailangan niya? Gusto daw sasakyan."

The family reuinion at this fashion event clearly showed that BB has finally been accepted by the whole family. For Mommy Eva, it was a very happy moment.

"Siyempre, anak ko din siya, di ba? So tinanggap na namin siya," smiled Mommy Eva. "Happy na siya—happy na kaming lahat! Siyempre noong una, hindi namin matanggap si BB. Noong nagtagal na, e, umiiral ang dugo. Sabi nga ni Robin noon, e, 'Baka hindi mo kaya makita si BB.' Pero noong nagkita naman sila, e, si Robin pa unang yumakap."

"Kung saan siya masaya, doon kami," Robin said firmly. "Hindi na ano iyon kung tanggap namin o ano—basta masaya siya! Bilang kapatid niya, e, kailangan namin siyang suportahan. Sino ba ang magtutulungan, di ba?"
