"To be honest, hindi ako handa. But maybe God has bigger plans for me. At saka everything happens for a reason. Tulad na lang ng sinasabi ng isang kilala kong mentor, na 'there's always a reason for being,'" says talent manager and former SOP executive producer Perry Lansigan.

He can be considered a "celebrity" na rin, being the manager of some of Kapuso network's prime talents, like Dingdong Dantes, Geoff Eigenmann and Jolina Magdangal, among others.
Ayon sa official statement mula mismo sa SVP for Entertainment TV ng GMA-7 na si Ms. Wilma Galvante, nagdesisyon si Perry na mag-resign sa SOP "to fully concentrate as President and CEO of PPL Entertainment, Inc., a production and talent management company which he formally established in September." (CLICK HERE to read related story.)
Lumabas din sa PEP Alerts that "he was left with no other choice," na maaaring ipagpalagay na "forced resignation" ang nangyari.
PERRY SPEAKS UP.
"Yes, I resigned. I won't elaborate na lang on that, kasi ayoko munang magsalita. Basta I will fly soon, and I will fly very, very high," makahulugang sabi ni Perry.
Kung umatungal na, akala mo habambuhay na magkarelasyon, what more yung almost ilang years?"
Hindi naman siya nakasagot agad when we asked him if his resignation was his personal decision. Pero sa bandang huli, sinabi niya, "I resigned na rin with respect to the wisdom of the recommendation of some people."
Paano niya pinaghandaan ang pagkawala niya sa GMA-7?
"To be honest, hindi ako handa," pag-amin ni Perry. "But maybe God has bigger plans for me. At saka everything happens for a reason. Tulad na lang ng sinasabi ng isang kilala kong mentor, na 'there's always a reason for being.' There's always a reason for being kung bakit yung office ko, September ko naitayo, tapos October nangyari ito [resignation]. E, puwede naman sa November maitayo. Maybe because ganito ang mangyayari. There's always a reason for being. Bakit October 25 yung last [day] ko, puwede namang the week before that? There's always a reason siguro dahil November 1, walang SOP.
PERRY'S TALENTS. Among Perry's pool of talents under PPL Entertainment—aside from Dingdong, Geoff, and Jolina—are Gabby Eigenmann, Arthur Solinap, Carlo Gonzalez, and Angelika dela Cruz, na lahat ay nasa Kapuso network din.
"They are very much on my side," sagot ni Perry. "They will support me raw all the way sa kung anumang endeavors na tatahakin ko at naniniwala naman sila. It's the same thing, very positive sila sa mga pangyayari.
If he has the choice, gusto pa rin ba niyang manatili sa GMA-7?
"I saw it coming. So, kumbaga, naghahanda ka. Kasi ang GMA at SOP in that matter is in my every breath and being na. Pero handa ako and positive ako dito."
