Toni Gonzaga fears kissing scenes will now figure in most of her movies because she has already "done it." Cast and crew had a field day during the shooting of the momentous scene. "Maraming tao. Daming cellphone, daming kumukuha," noted the actress-TV host.

In Ang Tanging Pamilya, Star Cinema's newest movie offering that will open on November 11, Toni Gonzaga finally did a kissing scene for real. In past movies and TV shows, the actress had always agreed to do such scenes only if she could fake them.

In fact, Toni and her screen partner Sam Milby had already  faked the kiss when they shot the big wedding scene the day before. However, Toni said she felt she had to redo the scene because Joseph "Erap" Estrada and Ai Ai delas Alas, who play her parents, had kissed for real in the same scene.

"Nagkaro'n kami ng one day na re-shoot para lang doon... Nag-gown uli, nag-makeup, lahat, para lang mai-close yung eksena ng kay President [Erap]. Kasi double wedding, e," Toni said at the presscon for the movie at ABS-CBN yesterday, November 6.

PART OF THE JOB. Toni said that director Wenn Deramas and the crew had to persuade her to kiss Sam for real. The scene made her uncomfortable.

"Gusto ko na matapos agad. Kasi ano, e, siyempre hindi ako kumportable. Maraming tao. Since first na talagang lapat na talaga, 50-50 camera. Hindi puwedeng dayain. Daming cellphone, daming kumukuha," she said.

But she admitted that she now feels no regrets for doing her job.

"Hindi ko naman pinagsisisihan kasi trabaho ko naman yon. Dapat talagang naka-focus ka lang talaga sa mga eksena," Toni said.

But what was the reaction of her director boyfriend, Paul Soriano?

"Wala, e. Hindi na, hindi naman nag-aano yun sa trabaho ko. Lalo na ngayon wala siya rito, nasa Amerika. Wala naman siyang ano na, sinasabi tungkol sa trabaho. Hiwalay kasi yun, e, alam niya yun," she said.

NOYNOY'S VIDEO. Toni refused to answer the press when she was asked if she would openly support Estrada's presidential campaign next year.

"Ay, right now, hindi pa. Ayoko munang magsalita," she said.

Toni was among the few Kapamilya stars who did not appear in Noynoy Aquino's "Hindi Ka Nag-iisa" music video, which heralds the Senator's presidential campaign next year. Recently, however, Kris Aquino, Noynoy's sister, said that Toni has already agreed to appear in the second video.

Toni also wouldn't talk about this and simply said, "Kung ano man nasabi ni Ate Kris, totoo 'yon. Yun na muna."

TONI FOR MAYOR? The root of Toni's hesitation may have to do with Erap's political proposal to her. In the interview, the actress admitted that the former president actually advised her to run for mayor of her hometown, Taytay, Rizal.

Toni is no stranger to politics. Before she found a career in showbiz, she  served as Taytay's barangay kagawad for five years. In 1998, Carlito Gonzaga, her father, also won as a councilor in the same town under Erap's presidential ticket.
