Isa sa mga nanood ng laban ni Manny Pacquiao kontra kay Miguel Cotto last November 14 (U.S. time) ay ang host ng Wowowee na si Willie Revillame. Nagkataon din kasing may show si Willie sa Las Vegas, ang Wowowillie na ginanap noong November 15, kaya nakapanood siya ng historic fight ng ating Pambasang Kamao.
Ayon kay Willie, mismong si Manny ang nag-imbita sa kanya upang manood ng kanyang laban sa MGM Grand Arena. Sa pay-per-view coverage ng HBO ay nai-focus pa nga sa camera sina Manny at Willie na nanonood ng undercard fights sa ringside.
Sa magkahiwalay na text messages ni Willie sa Editor-in-chief ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) na si Jo-Ann Maglipon ay ikinuwento ng TV host kung paano siya nakapanood ng laban ni Manny.
"I was in my hotel room. Lito Camo [singer-composer] called me, sabi niya gusto daw akong kausapin ni Manny. Nang mag-usap kami, sabi niya na may tiket daw siya para sa akin sa ringside. Bagama't wala namang masama kung magkitang magkasama sina Manny at Willie, may ilan namang nag-iisip kung bakit sa dinami-dami ng Pinoy celebrities na pumunta sa Las Vegas para panoorin ang laban ni Manny ay kay Willie siya tumabi. Exclusive talent ng GMA-7 si Manny, samantalang si Willie naman ang itinuturing na isa sa top stars ng ABS-CBN.
Pero paliwanag ni Willie sa text message pa rin niya kay Ms. Maglipon, "Manny is a humble man at simpleng tao. Okay siya. He was the one who called me at nag-invite sa akin. How can you resist that? Nakakabilib na tao si Manny. Hinanap pa niya ako nang papasok na sa MGM, siya mismo ang nagpahanap sa akin."
May nagsasabi ring baka may kaugnayan ito sa darating na 2010 elections. Open naman kasi ang pagsuporta ni Willie kay Senator Manny Villar sa pagtakbo nito bilang presidente.
Balita ring "nililigawan" ni Sen. Villar si Manny para sa kampanya nito, kahit na mukhang desidido na ang boxing champ na tumakbo bilang congressman sa Sarangani Province. Sa Pacquiao-Cotto 24/7 special documentary ng HBO ay nakita roon ang pagbisita ni Sen. Villar sa Baguio para kausapin si Manny. Pabalik na sana ng Maynila that time ni Manny, pero ipinagpaliban niya ito dahil nga sa pagdating ng Senador. Hindi ito nagustuhan ng trainer ni Manny na si Freddie Roach kaya nauna na itong bumalik ng Maynila at sumunod na lang si Manny.

I was not dictating PEP as I do not own it nor do I work for it. If I were guilty of anything-then I would understand why-but for something to just disappear-thats another story. No sane person just takes anything sitting down without getting the real reason.
PEP has rules and we as guests here need to follow it whether we like it or not. My questioning the deletion does not have anything to do with my trying to control the moderator but moreso the reason behind it as I dont recall saying anything wrong. Dont get me wrong - I have had numerous postings in the past deleted and I have respected it as I probably hit something below the belt. So PEP needed to step in and impose its rules.

helloer after natalo si manny kay morales ng isang beses nasa ABS pa din siya nng nanalo ulit siya kay morales. kailan lang naman lumipat si pacman sa inyo. hindi kawalan si manny sa ABS noh at ang importante pa dun asawa na mismo ni mannynagsabi na gusto niya talaga sa ABS
yung nagsasabing mas hapi daw si pakman sa abs e nawawala sa sarili. ano bang nangyari nung nasa abs si pacman? natalo siya!!! si lola korina pa nga ang nag-cover nung fight nya. nung matalo itinapon na lang sa freezer si manny kasi nga naman nawalan ng kinang.
nung kinuha nang gma si manny, tuloy2 na ang swerteng dumating sa kanya. kaya nga kandarapa ang abs sa pagpirata kay manny e.
Manny - with the money and stature you have - you can choose your friends - try and pick those who have exemplary moral values - people who can help you become a better person as you grow older. You are already a good boxer - pero you need to to do something about cementing your legacy through deeds that only people as financially gifted as you can give.
Manny - I am not talking about giving it to the women who are throwing themselves at you....give to those whom you know need it the most to be able to respect themselves again...

I totally agree with you. I an sure he was just trying to do his job that is - to serve and protect Willie, the almighty.
Actually I was more upset with the moderator for deleting it without even analyzing my earlier comments. They just deleted it because some Einstein requested it! If this is how they want to run things here in PEP- then anyone can just delete anything for the simple reason na - hindi nila feel ang comments....
Ay PEP is starting to be too trivial and is losing its spunk.... Makasulat nga kay Webmaster para matanong kung sino ang nagdelete sa mga moderators niya kahapon - LOL
