The freezing cold weather did not halt the plan of Mano Po 6 to hold its first Beijing pictorial, which "happened like a breeze," as described by the movie's lead star Sharon Cuneta.

The venue was Temple of Heaven, which was constructed from 1406 to 1420 in the southeastern part of Central Beijing, but road travel coincided with the city's rush hour, so it was already closed by the time the bus reached the location.

The target was to hold the shoot before sunset, but it was already dark when the official pictorial began.

Despite the circumstances, the team had "lots of fun."

Sharon said, "I was being shocked on how cold it actually was. Kasi nung nasa bus tayo, humihingi pa ako ng aircon, and then paglabas natin, ay, na-freeze pati bone marrow ko!

"But it was fun. And you know, the movie kasi is almost over, and it was like you bonded with your co-stars, especially this little girl, my little sister. Kagandang babae, ang lakas ng boses."

The Megastar was referring to Ciara Sotto, who was deriding herself because of the outfits she chose for the pictorial.

She told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), "Ang talino ko! Naka-see through ako, di ba? Tama ba yun? Tapos kanina, naka-ballet flats ako. Buti dala ko yung boots na kahit hindi bagay, sinuot ko na lang. Pero okay lang, it's fun."

Good thing, photographer Raymund Isaac—with a little help from the film's supervising producer, Manny Valera—was able to speed up the pictorial.

Dennis Trillo commented with a smile, "Ang tagal ng biyahe namin 'tapos isang pictorial..."

He continued, "Pero sobrang masaya, sobrang lamig. Ngayon lang ako naka-experience ng ganito kalamig at first time ko nakahawak ng snow. At first time ko nagkaroon ng ganito kabilis na pictorial."

Even Heart Evangelista, who was shaking and hiding behind a signage, was glad that it was "sobrang bilis."

She related, "Usually 4 p.m., nawawala na ang araw dito, kaya binilisan namin. In a way, nakunan din namin yung dapat naming makunan. And now, we have the time to eat dimsum at iba pang mga puwedeng makain dito.

After the pictorial, the group proceeded to a Mongolian restaurant, which served lamb, nuts, and vegetables.
