Isang malaking sorpresa at misteryo ang Christmas gift ni Dingdong Dantes para kay Marian Rivera.
"Eto nga, namumroblema na nga ako e. Medyo under time pressure, kasi medyo kailangan ng preparasyon, e. Mabuti na lang ipinaaala mo, tatawagan ko yung taong kausap ko tungkol dun," tugon ni Dingdong nang tanungin ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kung ano ang ireregalo niya sa kanyang rumored girlfriend.
Nakausap ng PEP si Dingdong last Sunday, November 22, sa Bench store sa Glorietta 5 during one of his store visits para sa kanyang Desired cologne.
Bakit kailangan ng preparasyon?
"Kasi gagawin siya, e. One month to go na lang, Pasko na," sabi niya.
Kahit anong pilit, ayaw i-reveal ni Dingdong kung ano ang regalong ito. "Basta isa siyang ano... isa siyang parang matibay na simbolo ng kanyang mga nagawa."
Pabiro naming tinanong si Dingdong kung monumento ba ito?
"Basta!" tawa niya. "Kapag nakita niya yun, maaalala niya ang kanyang mga pinaghirapan."
Another clue?
"Ginagawa siya, at ang gagawa nun ay isang specialist," sabi ni Dingdong.
Isa ba itong TV special?
"Hindi e, kasi yung tape, puwedeng mawala. Ito, hindi talaga basta mawawala, matatag talaga."
Hindi ba niya puwedeng i-announce na ngayon kung ano ito?
"Hindi puwede, kasi sorpresa nga," giit niya.
Kahit si Marian mismo ay wala raw idea sa balak na iregalo sa kanya ni Dingdong, na dati pang pinaplano ng aktor.
Magagawa ba ito in time for Christmas?
"Sana," asam niya. "And ako naman, kung hindi umabot, meron pa rin akong back-up plan."
Mahal ba ito?
"Medyo, medyo."
