Kung ang pagbabasehan ay ang mataas na ratings na naitala ng Bud Brothers Presents Pepper Roses at ang consistent high ratings na nakukuha ng pagbabalik-tambalan nila sa Somewhere In My Heart, masasabing mainit na tinatanggap at sinusuportahan ng publiko ang tambalang Guji Lorenzana at Kaye Abad.
Dahil sa onscreen chemistry nila, nababalita tuloy na may special relationship na namamagitan sa kanila. May reports ding lumalabas na nakikita raw sina Guji at Kaye na sweet na sweet sa isa't isa ay naghahalikan pa raw in public.
Nang makausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Guji ay tinanong namin siya kung may katotohanan ang mga lumalabas na kuwento tungkol sa kanila ni Kaye.
"She's sweet naman with other actors, hindi lang sa akin," simula ng singer-actor. "Kaye naman kasi is a type of person that she will lay on my shoulder na wala lang. Feeling ko, dahil loveteam kami, people might think that something is going on. Yes, we got out, nagko-coffee kami minsan. If we have time na kumain sa labas, lumalabas kami or sometimes here in ABS.
"Regarding sa nagki-kiss daw kami in public, it's just beso-beso. I tease her, she teases me. Ako kasi, I'm very malambing sa mga friends ko, sa lahat. They always see me as a touch person and I grew up like that. I'm very malambing by nature."
May mga balita ring lumalabas na sa kabila ng pagkaka-link ni Kaye kay Guji, tuloy pa rin daw ang relasyon ng aktres sa vocalist ng Parokya Ni Edgar na si Chito Miranda. Ano ang masasabi ni Guji rito?
"I don't ask her about it, kasi it's her private life," sagot niya. "Tapos ayokong mag-interfere sa ganyang mga bagay. I grew up in the States. I'm not like that. It's their business. But for what I feel, wala."
Hindi naman itinanggi ni Guji na gusto niya si Kaye at alam niyang he's giving the right signals to her.
"I like her, and I told the press that I really like Kaye, so alam niya. For what I'm doing, alam niya what I feel for her, imposibleng hindi niya alam. I'd like to think that I'm hinting towards that na papunta na dun. We're getting to know each other. Pero sa kabila ng pagsasabi ni Guji na gusto niya si Kaye, may balita namang may ka-live in na raw ang singer-actor sa kanyang condo somewhere in Makati.
"Definitely that's not true. I live alone in my condo," tanggi niya. "Siguro ang nakita nilang babae sa condo is either my sister or cousin from States 'cause dumadalaw sila sa akin dahil wala nga akong kasama dito."
Nabuksan din sa amin ni Guji na brokenhearted pala siya nang magpunta siya ng Pilipinas. He just came from a breakup noon, nasaktan siya nang sobra-sobra dahil supposed to be ay magpapakasal na sila ng ex-girlfriend niya.
"Dapat married na ako sa States, but nag-cheat sa akin yung girlfriend ko. I decided na pumunta ako dito, i-pursue yung career na para sa akin. My first love is singing," sabi niya.
Ibinalita ni Guji na mayroon siyang independent album na ginawa at plano niyang i-release ulit as a repackaged album.
Bukas naman, November 28, ay may show siya sa Capones, Makati. Isa sa mga guest niya ang tita niya at dating singer na si Joanne Lorenzana.
