"Tinanong ko nga siya that I heard it [TV ban] was lifted, without thinking, without knowing that he asked for [his hosting job] to be given back to him... All the while I thought yung decision nila was collaborative na gusto rin niyang magpahinga to have more time, so, wala akong kaalam-alam...
Kung ano ang sinasabi ko sa inyo ngayon, more or less, that's what I told him also."
Nagkausap sila?
"Well, hindi directly, through messages also. Sabi ko, any time na, you know, magkaroon ng decision to revert back, sobrang okay lang sa akin. Willingly, I will back out and give it back."
Para kay Dingdong, "Klaro sa akin that [this] is a task handed down to me by the management. At klaro rin sa akin that I am a replacement of Richard Gomez and I can never fill the shoes of a Richard Gomez.
"Bukod sa iniidolo ko siya, it was such a huge task to come in especially [in] the middle of something at its peak."
"If I were in his shoes, I will also feel the same way. But just the same, nirerespeto ko ang decision ng network at bukod sa nirerespeto ko, very grateful ako na ako ang pinili nila."
