Marami pa rin ang nagulat sa biglang paglipat ni Claudine Barretto sa Kapuso network. Ever since kasi, Claudine has always been a Kapamilya baby. In fact, she was considered the Star Magic Queen at isa sa maituturing na pioneers ng talent arm ng ABS-CBN.
Pero noong Miyerkules, November 25, kasama ni Claudine na nagtungo sa GMA-7 ang kanyang mga magulang.
"Masayang-masaya na ako ngayon ay kasama na sa pamilya ng Kapuso. Parang everything just fell into place. Parang lahat talaga, it's all God's will talaga. I'm really, really proud. Sincerely talaga with all my heart, I'm really, really proud to be a Kapuso."
Nagpahayag ng kanilang kasiyahan ang mga top executives ng GMA-7, tulad ni GMA President Felipe L. Gozon, Vice-president Jimmy Duavit, at GMA Films President Annette Gozon-Abrogar.
"Excited talaga 'ko," sabi ni Claudine, "dahil alam ko na magaganda yung mga nakahilerang project for me.
"And, at the same time, makakasama ko yung asawa ko. At mababantayan ko na siya," natatawang biro pa nito.
OLD FRIENDS AND AN OLD FLAME. Excited na rin daw makasama muli ni Claudine ang mga dati niyang kaibigan na nauna nang lumipat sa bakuran ng GMA.
"Actually, we have lots of catching up to do. Marvin [Agustin], Patrick [Garcia] is also there. Paolo Contis, so, palagi kong nakakasama ang mga yun. Fan na fan ako ng maraming shows dito, unang-una ang Darna, then yung kay Dingdong [Dantes] at saka yung kay Rhian [Ramos].
Handa na rin daw siyang makatrabaho ang ex-boyfriend na si Mark Anthony Fernandez.
"I think so, I think so... ako, okey ako. Pinayagan na ako ng asawa ko. Walang problema sa kanya. Hopefully, ganun na rin mag-end para ano... para finally, magkaroon kami ng closure dahil hindi naman talaga nagkaroon."
Bukod pa ro'n, "naniniwala ako na isa talaga siya sa magaling na artista sa mga lalaki, so, exciting," sabi ni Claudine.
