Nagtutuloy-tuloy na ang projects na ginagawa ng model turned actor na si Akihiro Sato sa Kapuso network. One after the other ang shows na ginagawa niya at ang pinakabago nga ay ang second season ng Darna, kung saan gaganap siya bilang isa sa mga kontrabida ni Darna (Marian Rivera).

 

Isang bampira ang role ni Akihiro sa Darna. Biro tuloy sa kanya, tila siya ang counterpart ng sikat na bida ng Twilight saga na si Edward Cullen. How does he feel about this?

 

"Well, surprised, kasi he's the hottest. Why not, di ba? I feel privileged to be compared with him," sabi ni Akihiro nang ma-interview siya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal)

 

Pero malayo raw ang character nila—siya as Vladimir at ang Hollywood actor naman na si Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen.

 

"Edward kasi is really more mabait. Pero ako, I sometimes look elegant and charming, pero kalaban talaga," sabi ni Akihiro.

 

SHOW WITH MARIAN. Sa pamamagitan ng Darna ay natupad na ang isa sa wish niya nang pumasok siya sa showbiz at ito ay ang makasama sa isang show si Marian Rivera.

 

"Yeah, amazing!" bulalas ni Akihiro. "She's the Darna, di ba? And I'm privileged to be part of Darna. And Marian is very nice, very funny also."

 

Biro na tanong kay Akihiro kung sa tingin niya ay may boyfriend na si Marian?

 

"I don't know. Di ba, she's Dingdong's girlfriend?" nakangiti niyang sagot.

 

CLOSE TO RUFA MAE & RHIAN. Hindi naman itinatanggi ni Akihiro na naging close sila ng comedienne na si Rufa Mae Quinto simula nang magkasama sila sa SRO Cinemaserye Presents Moshi Moshi I Love You, at ngayon nga ay magkakasama na naman sila sa Darna.

 

Pero nilinaw ni Akihiro that there is nothing romantic going on between them. May boyfriend na raw kasi si Rufa Mae, ayon sa mga nababasa niya at naririnig sa balita.

 

Pero silang dalawa sana ang magka-date sa nakaraang Star Awards for TV, pero balitang hindi ito sinipot ni Akihiro. Sorry naman nang sorry si Akihiro kay Rufa Mae.

 

"Sorry, sorry na," nakangiti niyang sabi. "Actually, I'm just supposed to watch. I'll just supoort Rufa Mae and my other friends. But I don't know, suddenly, I had a stomach ailment."

 

Hindi rin itinanggi ni Akihiro na close sila ni Rhian Ramos at dalawang beses na raw siguro silang nakakalabas. Pero aniya, wala raw siyang nililigawan kina Rufa Mae at Rhian. Pero kung tatanungin siya, sino sa dalawa ang mas close sa kanya?

 

"Dalawa... pareho sila. They are both mabait and simple persons. Of course, Rufa, I know her better because we've been together in two shows na. And Rhian is busy, she has no time," sabi ng hunky model-actor.

 

Ano ang mas type niya, yung tipo ni Rufa Mae na voluptuous and sexy o yung tipo ni Rhian na sweet ang dating?

 

"Well, I don't know. It's like you'll get confused if you were asked, like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise!" natatawang sabi ni Akihiro.
