Maayos na muli ang sitwasyon sa pagitan ni Sunshine Dizon at ng GMA-7. Nagsimula ang gusot sa biglaang pagkawala ni Sunshine sa Sine Novela Presents Tinik sa Dibdib at kinailangang palitan siya ni Nadine Samonte.
Nakausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Sunshine noong December 10 sa victory party sabay Christmas party na idinaos para sa kanya ni Dr. Manny Calayan para sa pagkapanalo nito sa 23rd Star Awards for TV ng Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC). Tinaguriang Best Single Performance by an Actress ang pagganap ni Sunshine sa "Butch" episode ng Obra.
Kuwento ni Sunshine, "Kanina, we had this parang... hindi naman actually dinner, parang meron silang mini-show sa GMA kaya nagpunta ako."
Wala naman daw naging pormal na pag-uusap na naganap tungkol sa kanyang status bilang contract star ng Kapuso network.
"Wala naman pong ganung pag-uusap pa. Basta I was invited for dinner at the Gozon's house and wala naman, just a casual dinner. Wala naman talagang pinag-usapan... but they're really happy to see me and they're glad that I'm back.
"Walang naging problema with anybody, wala. They're very warm naman, kasi sila rin naman ang nagsabi talaga, sina Mr. [Felipe] Gozon [GMA CEO] naman ang nagbigay talaga ng ano na, 'Let her rest.' Parang ganun."
NADINE IS GOOD REPLACEMENT. Health reasons daw talaga ang dahilan ng pag-alis niya sa Tinik Sa Dibdib.
"At that time kasi, I just really got tired. I was overfatigued, yun lang." Pero "I've rested. I'm very much okay."
Willing na ba siyang magtrabaho ulit araw-araw?
"Well, prerogative mo naman yun, and nasa pag-uusap naman ninyo 'yan. Kasi ang project basis naman is they give you a different contract per project, so depende na yun sa pag-uusap, kung what's agreed upon."
Inamin ni Sunshine na nanghinayang siya sa pagkawala niya sa Tinik sa Dibdib.
"Sa isang banda, oo, kasi lahat naman ng nawawala sa 'yo, panghihinayangan mo talaga. Pero siguro, there are things in your life talaga na hindi mo maiiwasan. Na kahit hindi mo gustong mangyari, wala ka nang magagawa. It happens, di ba? It happens to the best of us... Take it as a lesson whatever that is, whatever lesson it might serve you."
Sa tingin niya, si Nadine na naging kapalit niya "is doing a very good job. I hope people will appreciate her work or whoever is my replacement. I know kung sino man ang inilagay nila doon will do a good job because it's a good project. The story is very good, so you have to give your best."
NOT DEPRESSED ABOUT LOVE. Itinanggi rin ni Sunshine na depression sa pag-ibig ang dahilan ng pag-alis niya pansamantala sa showbiz.
"Wala naman po, e, di sana masaya ako ngayon!" natatawa nitong sinabi. "Wala akong lovelife. It's not something that I focus on naman."
May lumabas kasing balita na kaya madalas si Sunshine sa Pampanga ay dahil tagaroon ang boyfriend niya.
"All my friends are from Pampanga, sa San Fernando, lahat ng barkada ko po. Sila yung pinupuntahan ko dun. Wala po akong boyfriend doon, all of them are my good friends."
May lumabas ding mga balita na naglalasing daw siya, at na-overdose na sa drugs at nabuntis pa. Ano ang reaksiyon niya sa mga ito?
"I don't see anything wrong if I go out with my friends once in a while and have a few drinks. Pero never naman akong naglasing at nagwala, hindi po totoo yun.
"Yun naman pong buntis daw ako, paano ako maglalasing at magda-drugs kung buntis ako, di ba? Nakakatawa ang mga balita, hindi consistent."
