Comedy King Dolphy proves that he can still do his job as an actor in his upcoming movie Nobody, Nobody But Juan.
For 65 years, he has given laughter to every Pinoy through his movies and TV sitcoms. And there's no stopping this veteran comedian from his passion for acting even at 81.
In an interview at the press conference of his movie, which is one of the official entries in the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), Dolphy said he willingly took this offer because, "Pasko, e, lagi tayong nagbibigay ng ligaya kapag ganyang festival, Pasko, magaganda ang nagagawa ng tao. Sana magustuhan nila ang ginagawa nila."
At his age, Dolphy said he had planned to leave show business many times before. However, there are still networks interested in having him in their projects.
Despite these, Dolphy continued with the project offered to him.
Dolphy admitted that he's past his prime years as an actor, but he believes he has made an indelible mark in the industry, along with other veteran actors.
After Nobody, Nobody But Juan, would Dolphy still be willing to do another movie project?

im just wondering too. do they have a seks life pa? hehehe. curious lang ha.
I think he is truly a national treasure.
My nieces approached to say hi and he was so gracious, very approachable -- a people person ba. I don't think anyone compares to his status in the industry pero super humble pa rin.
Sana wag nang magcomment sa personal life niya. Consider na lang his numerous contributions.
God bless, Mang Dolphy... sana good health always.
He deserves to have one! I think he has been quite vocal about how much he has hoped to get one. I do hope the people responsible for giving these things out get their act together and give it to him - soon!
Pero honestly, hindi ako natatawa kay Dolphy. Pati na rin kay Vic.
tearjerker!
