Kagagaling lang ng model na si Georgina Wilson from Boracay. Limang araw na nagbakasyon doon ang modelong naging girlfriend ng aktor na si Richard Gutierrez. 

Kapansin-pansin nga ang tan ni Georgina, lalo na sa shoot ng "Beautiful Girl" music video ni Christian Bautista kahapon, January 6, kung saan nakasama niya, bukod kay Christian, sina Anne Curtis, Solenn Heusaff, at Angel Locsin.

"I stayed away from any controversy," says the gorgeous Georgina to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal). "I just led a peaceful life even during the time that we have still a relationship. It didn't really give me a hard time. I was more shy before, I think."

Wala raw naging problema kay Georgina even during the time na nada-drag na ang pangalan niya sa mga intriga involving Richard.

"Alam ko naman kasi ang totoo, so I wasn't bothered," she says. "I think if you will just let it pass, I never thought there was a need to react. The press naman was so nice to me. Hindi naman kasi nila ako kilala. Good thing they didn't say anything bad."

Nakatulong nga siguro yung pagiging mahiyain ni Georgina para hindi siya gaanong panghimasukan ng entertainment press.

During those times that Richard was being linked to different girls, how did she react?

"I just texted him and say, 'Hoy, 'Chard!' Hindi naman ako basta naniniwala. The real Richard is kind and generous. Shy rin yun, nami-misinterpret lang. A lot of people say they know him, but actually they don't. He's just close to a few people.

"Yeah, we were in Boracay, I was with my family. Close din siya sa family ko, e. Kung kami-kami ang magkasama, he can be himself. Akala lang nila, yung mga tao sa showbiz, they are always up for a show. Guarded sila, and they tend to be cautious.

"I just tease him pag may nababalitaan akong other girls daw. He doesn't want to hear stories naman about who's dating me. Huwag na lang daw. I try naman him to make kuwento, pero ayaw naman niya, so huwag na lang," sabi ni Georgina.

Mali rin daw ang impression kay Richard na ladies' man ito.

"Never siyang naging ganoon," pagtatanggol ni Georgina. "You know naman the business, ili-link lang siya with his leading ladies. Even during the time that we were on, other girls have never been an issue."

May balita na ang dahilan daw ng split-up nila ni Richard ay ang pagkakaugnay ng aktor kay Jewel Mische, at si Georgina mismo ang nakatuklas daw nito. Ano ang masasabi niya rito?

"I don't even know Jewel!" at natawa na lang ang dalaga. "We broke up basically because I don't live in the Philippines. Long-distance affairs are so difficult. You leave each other all the time. It's not easy to have a shared life when you're not together.

"Physical proximity, for me, is very important. From experience, hindi talaga maganda ang long-distance affairs. Yun lang talaga ang reason... Intrigera ka talaga!" birong lambing pa ni Georgina sa amin.
