Kung magkasama kami, magkasama kami. Hindi ko naman siya kailangang kausapin. Kung trabaho, trabaho. Sa akin, it's not a big deal. Pero ang tanong ko, kaya niya ba akong makatrabaho? Kaya niya ba akong harapin? Ako kasi, wala akong problemang harapin siya. Yun lang."

Kinumusta ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kay Geoff Eigenmann ang kanyang ama na si Michael de Mesa nang makausap namin ang young actor sa pocket press conference na ipinatawag ng GMA-7 para sa kanila ni Carla Abellana kahapon, January 20, sa Aresi restaurant. Ang pocket presscon ay kaugnay ng special guest appearance nina Goeff at Carla sa fantaserye na The Last Prince, na pinagbibidahan nina Aljur Abrenica at Kris Bernal.
Ibinalita ni Geoff sa amin na uuwi next month ang kanyang ama, na naka-base na ngayon sa U.S., in time for the wedding of Geoff's eldest brother, Ryan Eigenmann.
"Uuwi siya siguro mga second week of February. He will probably be here a month and a half. Magtatagal din siguro bago siya bumalik since the wedding of Ryan is on February 28," sabi niya.
Nabanggit ni Geoff na nagkakausap naman sila ng daddy niya. Kaya na-curious kaming itanong sa kanya ang naging reaksiyon ng ama niya tungkol sa naging isyu sa pagitan ng mom niyang si Gina Alajar at ng sexy star na si Krista Ranillo. Ito ay may kaugnayan sa pagpu-post ni Gina ng advice kay Jinkee Pacquiao tungkol kay Krista sa kanyang Facebook account. Gaya ni Manny Pacquiao, na-link din kay Krista ang ama ni Geoff na si Michael de Mesa. Ito ay nangyari noong nagsasama pa ang aktor at si Gina bilang mag-asawa.
"Matagal na... it's actually an old, old issue," sabi ni Geoff. "Well, ang sa akin lang, totoo naman ang sinabi ng mom ko. It was the truth. The outcome of that, everybody heard about it, everybody saw it. Tapos na. I've said my piece, Mama said her piece. The last I heard, she [Krista] wanted to hear a public apology from us and I said something about it and I never heard something about it."
Ano ang naging reaction ng father niya tungkol sa paglabas ng isyung ito?
"Nothing big... nagulat lang siya kung bakit lumabas ulit yun. That was it. Hindi naman siya naapektuhan. Nagulat lang siya. Parang, 'O, bakit naman umangat ulit?' After that, wala na," sabi ni Geoff.
Sila ba ni Krista ay nagkita o nagkasama na magmula nang ma-link ito sa daddy niya?
"Nagkita naman... Like my very first day in GMA, SRO [Cinemaserye Presents Ganti], wala siya sa cast, pero bumisita siya sa set one time with her brother. Kasi nga, it was Direk Dominic Zapata as our director," lahad ni Geoff. Si Direk Dominic ay dating boyfriend ni Krista.
Aminado si Geoff na hindi niya binati si Krista nang bumisita ito sa set nila.
"Wala lang... no loss for me. Ever since naman, parang wala na lang," sambit niya.
Nagkaroon ba ng matinding impact sa kanilang magkakapatid yung isyu noon sa daddy niya at kay Krista?
"Siyempre, yung outcome nun, nawala ang dad sa house. So, big impact talaga. Malaking pagbabago ang nangyari. Pero wala... that's the past. So, we have to accept it and live on," sagot ni Geoff.
Mga 16 years old daw siya at nasa high school pa nang mangyari yun sa kanilang pamilya.
Tinanong din ng PEP si Geoff kung sakali at magkaroon ng project na magkasama sila ni Krista, tatanggapin ba niya? At paano kung sila ang magkapareha at may kissing scene pa sila?
