Kung sa pagtatapos ng 2009 ay madalas makitang magkasama ang dating magkasintahan na sina Sam Milby at Anne Curtis sa mga showbiz events, sa pagsisimula pa lang ng 2010 ay marami ang nakapansin na tila nag-iiwasan na ang dalawa. Ang usap-usapan ay nauwi na naman sa hiwalayan ang sandaling pagbabalikan ng dalawa.
Pero sa panayam ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kay Sam noong Linggo, February 7, sa ASAP XV ay pinabulaanan niya ang balitang nagkabalikan at nag-break sila ulit ni Anne.
"Honestly, there's no truth on that issue," sabi niya. "Siyempre, you have to be on again to break up and hindi naman kami nagkabalikan. We're friends. But like what I'm saying before, we're not closing any doors, we're just enjoying our friendship."
Hindi naman itinanggi ni Sam na hindi na talaga sila madalas na nagkakasama ni Anne, pero iginiit nitong wala silang away o tampuhan.
"We haven't gone out outside of work over a month na. We're okey naman, minsan friends don't see each other. Even friends sometimes have problems, but okay kami ni Anne," saad niya.
MAJA SALVADOR. After his breakup with Anne, na-link si Sam sa young actress na si Maja Salvador. May lumabas ngang balita na si Sam daw ang dahilan ng patuloy na dedmahan daw nina Anne at Maja sa ASAP. Ano ang masasabi rito ng Fil-Am actor-singer?
"I don't believe that to be true kasi, first of all, nothing happened with Maja and me. I never courted her, we never dated. Ours is just work, we're friends, so that's it. Even if something happened between me and Anne, there is no reason not to be okay, so I don't believe it all."
Magkasama sina Sam at Maja sa isang episode ng Precious Hearts Romances, samantalang may pelikula ring tinatapos ang binata with Anne under Star Cinema and Viva Films, kaya't inaasahan na ni Sam na mabubuksan na naman ang issue sa kanilang tatlo.
"I'm sure mas lalo siyang pag-uusapan dahil may project ako kasama si Anne, tapos may project din ako kasama si Maja. So, magiging issue na naman. I'm expecting it of course," sabi niya.
