Brazilian-Japanese model Fabio Ide: "Nobody can ever buy me, I am not for sale."

"I realized that acting is something that I really like and it would be a challenge for me to live in another country where I have to speak a different language. I think it would make me a better person, as a human being, as a man to go for my chance and try to reach for the highest level of my career," says Brazilian-Japanese model Fabio Ide.

Kung ang claim to fame ni Daniel Matsunaga ay ang pagiging leading man ni KC Concepcion sa Close-Up commercial, ang kapwa niyang  Brazilian-Japanese model na si Fabio Ide naman ay ang "ka-date" ni Marian Rivera sa San Mig Light commercial ng aktres with Dingdong Dantes.

"Yeah, that's me," nakangiting sabi ni Fabio nang makausap siya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa pocket presscon na ipinatawag ng Mercator Model and Artist Management para sa kanilang hunky Brazilian-Japanese models na sina Fabio, Daniel, at Akihiro Sato kahapon, March 4.

Kumusta namang katrabaho si Marian?

"It was good, it was nice. We had a lot of fun," maikling sagot ng 25-year-old model.

Ayon kay Fabio, hindi pa raw sina Marian at Dingdong noong shinoot nila ang naturang beer commercial.

"There were rumors they were together, but I think they were just friends noon," sabi niya. "Marian is nice, she is very professional and we talk a lot. We have a lot of scenes dancing so when we stop, we talk fo a long time and we had fun."

Nagagandahan ba si Fabio kay Marian?

"Yes! She is a beautiful girl, yeah, maganda siya," sagot niya.

Wala raw girlfriend ngayon si Fabio. Ang huli raw niyang girlfriend ay Brazilian. "Before, pero wala na akong nobya ngayon. Only trabaho, focus sa trabaho."

FABIO LOVES THE PHILIPPINES. Kadarating lang ni Fabio sa Pilipinas two months ago, pero pang-apat na beses na niyang balik ito sa bansa.

"I've been coming back and forth here in the Philippines since 2006," banggit niya. "That was the first time I came here to the Philippines, 2006. Pero now, I've decided to stay here for good so that's why I am already starting to learn Tagalog, going to auditions, doing fashion shows, small appearances in TV shows for GMA... I did Show Me Da Manny, also Pinoy Records, and Full Time Moms.

"Commercials, I've done Enervon Vitamins with Iza Calzado, and then Close-Up. I did Greenwich Pizza, I did KFC, I did C2, and my most recent commercial was San Miguel Light with Dingdong and Marian."

Kuwento pa ni Fabio, "2006 is the first time I came to the Philippines, I stayed for four months. The second time I was here for three months and then third time, three months also. Coz you see, I had to move to Japan. I lived in Tokyo for a year and a half. I had a contract there for magazine so I really had to stay there for at least one year. Tapos, pumunta ako dito sa Pilipinas."

Gustung-gusto raw ni Fabio ang Pilipinas.

"Sobrang gusto ko dito kasi yung... I mean the people are really nice, very, very friendly, very polite. Even if you guys live in a 'third world' country, the same way as we do, you guys find ways to have fun, to smile, to survive... You know what I mean? And there is this atmosphere, maybe because you guys were colonized by the Spaniards... I don't know how to explain that, pero you guys know how to live life, how to enjoy," saad niya.

Gusto rin maging artista ni Fabio.

"Yes, since I'm young, and especially I've done so many commercials not just here in the Philippines, pero in other countries. I realized that acting is something that I really like and it would be a challenge for me to live in another country where I have to speak a different language. I think it would make me a better person, as a human being, as a man, to go for my chance and try to reach for the highest level of my career," sabi niya.

INVASION OF BRAZILIAN-JAPANESE MODELS.

"I was born in Brazil, in Sao Paulo. My dad is Japanese and my mom is half-Brazilian and half-Spanish," dagdag na impormasyon ni Fabio tungkol sa kanyang sarili.

Pero hindi tulad nina Akihiro at Daniel, hindi nakarampa si Fabio sa Cosmo Bachelor Bash last year, kung saan pinag-usapan nang husto ang dalawa niyang kasamahang modelo.
