"I get about 15 resumés a day, every day. I get calls and tweets every day mula sa mga kasama natin sa industriya asking kung may space ba rito. And I tell them, 'Sige, I'll look into it.' Sa ngayon kasi ang hinahanap ng TV5 are the pillars, e. Kaya nga we have Dolphy, we have Maricel [Soriano], we have Vic Sotto, and then Ruffa Gutierrez and the rest. Although they are not exclusive talents, their commitment naman dun sa shows nila is undeniable. And the quality of work they can give is undeniable din.

"So, two ways 'yan e. You have pillars and then you have yung mga baguhan na ide-develop namin and hopefully give them a fighting chance in  showbiz."

Bakit non-exclusive ang contract na ibinibigay nila sa mga big stars? Kasama ba ito sa conditions nila?

"Usually, yes. Kasi when you say exclusive, it means you cannot come out sa other stations aside from TV5. Ayaw naman naming higpitan ang mga stars right now kasi we need them and they need us,  too."

DOLPHY'S STATEMENT. Hindi ba sila nasaktan nang sabihin ni Dolphy na kahit magkakaroon siya ng show sa TV5 ay Kapamilya pa rin siya?

"Not at all because we understand his reasons that he wanted to work. And noong gumawa kami ng concept, pasok siya. So, nung magkaroon kami ng shoot for the station ID all the stars were there. Si Dolphy nandun, sina Ruffa Gutierrez, Vic Sotto, Mo Twister, Cristy Fermin were there. It just means that these people recognize na mukha rin sila ng TV5. They can appear on other channels but depende pa rin sa mangyayari naman, e. When the network gets bigger and bigger, then doon na siguro papasok yung usapang exclusivity.

"And right now sinasabi ng mga tao, naglipatan because of the talent fee. That's so unfair sa talent dahil sinasabing mukha siyang pera. And it's suicide sa network. Imagine-in mo kung lahat ng talents kinuha dahil sa pera, e, di wala nang pera ang TV5. Kasi wala pa kaming shows na ineere, e, so wala pa kaming ibinebenta. So, papatayin mo yung network mo kung ganun ang usapan. Ang masasabi ko lang, lahat ng desisyon ay pinag-isipan."

JC DE VERA. Usap-usapan na rin na diumano'y lilipat na rin si JC de Vera sa TV5. Gaano ito katotoo?

"Ang alam ko his contract ends on March 15. So, he has to finish whatever he has to do with GMA. If he has to finish Panday Kids, he has to finish that."

Pero nagkaroon ba talaga ng offer kay JC ang TV5, o ang partido ni JC ang lumapit sa TV5?

"Let's just say na two-way siya. He's has the talent and he's looking for a different venue. And let's see, parang ganun, e. Right now, kumbaga March 15, we have to wait for that day. And then let's see. Like Ruffa, she has two more weeks sa The Buzz, di ba? She was able to announce only the other day that she is now with TV5. With JC naman, we're waiting for him to decide or Tita Annabelle [Rama, JC's manager] to decide."

Pero may possibility bang kunin nila si JC?

"He's very talented. I've worked with him in Captain Barbell. He was my son. So, talent-wise, look-wise, he's very bankable."
