Usap-usapan na ang nalalapit na pag-alis ni Ruffa Gutierrez sa The Buzz dahil sa paglipat ng TV host-actress sa TV5, kung saan magkakaroon siya ng ibang showbiz talk show, kasama sina Cristy Fermin at Mo Twister.
Pero bago pa man ang tuluyan niyang pag-alis ay nagkaroon ng malaking isyu nang mapabalitang nag-walkout si Ruffa sa The Buzz kahapon, March 7, dahil sa umano'y pagkapikon sa pambabara raw sa kanya ng co-host na si Kris Aquino.
THE BUZZ INCIDENTS. Nagkaroon ng ilang sapantaha ang PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) nang mapanood ang The Buzz kahapon tungkol sa ilang insidenteng maaaring naging dahilan o nagbunsod ng umano'y tensyon sa pagitan nina Ruffa at Kris.
Sa opening pa lang ng The Buzz ay naging kapansin-pansin ang tila hindi agad pagbati ni Kris kay Ruffa. Nauna kasing binati ni Kris si Boy at sinabing na-miss niya ito sabay yakap sa kabigan at co-host. Tila naghintay naman ng pagbati si Ruffa, kaya siya na ang nag-initiate sa pagsasabing, "Ako, hindi mo ako na-miss? Malapit na..." Tila ang tinutukoy rito ni Ruffa ay ang nalalapit niyang pag-alis sa ABS-CBN.
Sinagot naman ito ni Kris na matagal daw kasi silang hindi nagkita ni Boy kumpara dati na araw-araw silang nagkikita dahil sa palabas nilang SNN (Showbiz News Ngayon). Nag-leave kasi si Kris sa show dahil na rin sa sobrang stress matapos ang aksidente niya sa banyo kung saan nabagok ang kanyang ulo.
Isa pang insidente ay nangyari naman during their "P.O.V. (Points, Opinions and Violent Reactions)" segment. Ang topic nila for discussion ay ang nangyaring pagbibi-break umano nina Derek Ramsay at Angelica Panganiban ngunit nagkabalikan din daw after three weeks.
After ng VTR about the story, si Ruffa ang naunang nagbigay ng comment. Aniya, "Kanina we're actually discussing it, di ba? Every couple goes through problems. Ang napatunayan, they did go through a bump in their relationship. Pero doon sa two or three weeks na naghiwalay sila—"
Biglang sumabat si Kris at sinabing hindi sila naghiwalay.
Patuloy ni Ruffa, "Hindi sila naghiwalay. Nagkaroon sila ng problema. So, naayos naman nila yun. And now they're back in speaking terms and their really good."
Sumunod namang nagbigay ng komento si Boy na sinegundahan pa ni Ruffa. Hanggang sa turn na ni Kris na magpahayag. Nagsalit-salitan na ang pagbibigay nila ng opinyon.
Nang muli namang magsalita si Ruffa sinabi niya, "In any relationship, you either accept the guy or accept the person for the way he considers everything. O kaya iwanan mo na lang."
Bagay na kinuwestiyon ni Kris. At dito na sila nagsimulang magdiskusyon.
"I'll argue lang with Ruffa, shortly. You'll also change," sabi ni Kris.
"That's what people are saying," sabi naman ni Ruffa.
"Ako, me... quiet na ako," ani Kris.
Tanong ni Ruffa, "Why did Yilmaz [Bektas, Ruffa's estranged husband] didn't [sic] change?"
Paliwanag naman ni Kris, "No, I'm just saying. Ako nag-a-adjust. I'm trying my best and I see my husband [James Yap] is trying also to adjust. Like yung mga, I'm trying to be a little more quiet. No, really, di ba? Tapos noong sinabi niya na basta walang halikan. Okay. Di ba nga, nagkadalawang anak na ako sa KTM [Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo], walang halikan. Yun lang yun, you're trying to adjust talaga."
Sumabat naman si Boy na, "What Ruffi is trying to say is you either accept... Part of acceptance is adjusting, you know. And part of quitting and going away after you tried many times and things don't work, remember you have a choice to say goodbye."
"Especially kung nagmumukha ka nang tanga," wika ni Ruffa.
"Korek, yun naman ang hindi dapat, na magmukha ka nang tanga," pagsang-ayon naman ni Kris.
