Mainit pa ring pinag-uusapan kung totoo nga bang naghiwalay sina Derek Ramsay at Angelica Panganiban for three weeks pero nagkabati rin. Nauna nang naisulat dito sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ang lumabas na balita sa isang daily broadsheet noong March 3 tungkol sa breakup ng dalawa. (CLICK HERE to read related story.)
Sa article na ito sinasabing nagtapos na raw ang three-year relationship ng magkasintahan. At ang dahilan diumano ng hiwalayan ay ang pagiging selosa ni Angelica, na pati ang mga fans diumano ng hunky actor ay pinagseselosan ng aktres.
Napag-alaman naman ng PEP mula sa isang source, who is very close to both Angelica and Derek, na totoong nag-break ang dalawa. Pero ayon sa aming source, nagkabalikan din agad sina Angelica at Derek. Three weeks daw tumagal ang breakup nila. Last March 2 daw nangyari ang reconciliation sa pagitan ng magkasintahan.
DENIES BREAKUP ISSUE. Pero sa interview naman kina Derek at Angelica ng The Buzz na ipinalabas kahapon, March 7, ang kanilang naging deklarasyon tungkol sa breakup issue ay isa raw malaking kasinungalingan. Ayon kina Derek at Angelica, ang totoo raw ay nagkatampuhan lamang sila ng ilang araw pero hindi sila umabot sa hiwalayan.
"Hindi naman kami naghiwalay, e," sabi ni Angelica.
Ayon naman kay Derek, "All relationships have problems and... you know, Angel and I had some problems. Not third party, not yung pagseselos. Not anything like that."
Karamihan ng interview ay puro sa side ni Derek. At inamin nga nito na kapwa nila kailangan ni Angelica ng oras para sa sarili nila at para makapag-isip. Pero naayos din naman ang lahat matapos nilang makapag-usap.
"We decided to take some time off to fix everything that we were going through. And we did. We sat down. Tinawagan ko siya and it was actually like a two-minute conversation. And it was fixed."
ANGELICA IS NOT SELOSA. Kasunod nito, isa-isang sinagot ni Derek ang mga naglabasang intriga tungkol sa kanilang pagsasama.
Una, sobrang selosa nga ba si Angelica?
"Hindi siya selosa. Iyakin si Angel. Hindi siya selosa, iyakin," paglilinaw niya.
Pangalawa, ang pagkalat ng larawan ni Derek kasama ang isang non-showbiz girl.
"'Yan ipapakita ko pa 'yan. Proud pa ako diyan. O, ayan sige. Alam na rin ni Angel 'to," bulalas ni Derek hawak ang kopya ng naturang larawan. "This is in Cebu. She's a friend. I was with Matteo Guidicelli. This was during Sinulog and I have lots of pictures like that. You know, sometimes someone would ask, 'Puwedeng pa-picture na hinahalikan mo ako?' Me, I'll do it coz it's harmless. It's like we're making damay an innocent person."
SAIDA DIOLA. Pangatlo, ang diumano'y madalas na pagsundo ni Derek sa Broadway Centrum kay Saida Diola, member ng dance group ng Eat Bulaga! na EB Babes.
"I'm always seen out with her. And assumptions. People assume and this is where it came from. So, again my apologies to Angel. And my apologies to Saida that her name is involved."
Ayon pa sa isang write-up, binigyan daw ni Derek ng isang diamond ring si Saida.
"Yung diamond ring, I don't know kung saan nanggagaling yun na may binigyan daw ako ng diamond ring. I haven't been giving any diamond rings," sabi niya.
SELEN YOUSSEF. At ang huling isyung ikinagulat ni Derek, ang diumano'y muli nilang pagkikita ng ex-girlfriend niyang model na si Selen Youssef.
"You know that's the fact that is icing on the cake. I thought the diamond ring was the funniest. Pero I haven't seen Selen in how long. Siguro communication-wise, a text or two. But like it's been months," saad niya.
FAMILY CONCERNS. Nang maungkat naman na hindi raw tanggap ng kanyang pamilya si Angelica, agad namang dinepensahan ni Derek ang girlfriend.
"Hindi makikipagplastikan ang pamilya ko sa isang taong hindi nila gusto. If that's the case, just leave my family out because my family, you know, they're real, honest and good people. And they don't need to get to all of these."
