"Hopefully, makuha ko po yung role na 'yon," asam ni Rocco.
Ang role na tinutukoy ni Rocco ay ang young attorney na makaka-love triangle nina Jennylyn at Dennis. Ito ang role na nabalita noon na mapupunta sa kanya bago pa man ang Final Judgment ng StarStruck V.
"Yun nga po, doon ko na-realize na rumors lang po talaga!" medyo natawang sabi ni Rocco. "Kasi we had to audition pa for that role, na nasa balita na ito yung role na ibibigay sa akin—that's what we auditioned for. Kaya I had to work for it pa. Pero nakapag-audition kami, it was okay naman. Masaya naman ako sa performance ko. So hopefully makuha ko po yung role."
Anong genre ba talaga ang gusto niyang pasukin?
"Gusto ko po talaga action-drama. So, kung merong show na gusto kong masalihan ngayon, e, di Panday Kids. Tapos yung Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak na rin po kasi mati-test po talaga yung acting skills ko dun. So, gusto ko talaga 'yon."
COSMO HUNK. Nang makausap ng PEP si Rocco ay kararating lang niya mula sa Matabungkay beach resort sa Batangas para sa pictorial niya sa Cosmopolitan magazine, kung saan siya ang featured Cosmo Hunk of the Month. Lalabas daw ang naturang pictorial niya sa April 2010 issue ng Cosmopolitan.
Excited na raw si Rocco sa paglabas ng pictorial niya para sa Cosmopolitan. "At the same time, parang ang sarap ng feeling dahil ako pa lang po sa Final 5 ang nakagawa ng ganito," dagdag niya.
Dahil sa sexy pictorial niya sa Cosmopolitan, ibig bang sabihin nito ay kasali na siya sa Cosmo Bachelor Bash this year? Last year kasi ay rumampa ang mga kapwa Kapuso stars niyang sina Aljur Abrenica, JC Tiuseco, Akihiro Sato at Daniel Matsunaga.
"Ang alam ko po itong ginawa naming Hunk of the Month, kasama din yata sa cosmo.tv, dun sa Internet. Yung mga fans, they'll get a chance to vote kung sino talaga ang gusto nilang masama sa Cosmo Bachelor Bash... Sana makasama po ako sa list. Siyempre ipa-plug ko po palagi yun para iboto po nila ako. Pero I'm sure maganda yung mga pictures. Nakita ko po kanina, ang ganda ng mga kuha," saad niya.
Bagamat hindi pa nagsisimula ang Party Pilipinas ay punung-puno na ang schedule ni Rocco at ilang kasamahan niya sa Final 5 dahil sa guestings, mall shows, pictorials, at personal appearances. Gaya na lamang nitong araw, March 13, maaga pa lang ay nagpunta na sila sa GMA Network Center, tapos ay didiretso sila sa Robinson's Galleria para sa autograph signing, at pagkatapos nito ay babalik sila sa GMA para sa guesting nila sa Walang Tulugan ni Kuya Germs.
How is he coping with the busy schedule?
"I look forward to being busy!" tawa ni Rocco. "Hindi ko po alam pero hinahanap-hanap ko po yung may ginagawa lagi. Gusto ko lang productive lagi sa mga ginagawa. Katulad po kanina, may pictorial po ako sa Cosmo. Although it took the whole day, masaya ako kasi may trabaho akong ginawa."
BIRTHDAY BOY. Sa March 21 ay magdiriwang na si Rocco ng kanyang 23rd birthday. Ito rin ang magsisilbing first birthday niya bilang isang artista.
Ang gusto sana ni Rocco ay makapiling niya ang kanyang pamilya sa espesyal na araw na 'yon. Bukod kasi sa birthday niya ay family day rin ito dahil Linggo natapat ang kanyang kaarawan. Pero sa gabi ay kailangan niyang magpunta sa Tarlac para sa isang show kaya magtatrabaho pa rin siya kahit birthday niya.
Ano naman ang kanyang birthday wish?
"Wish ko po for the whole year, sobrang daming projects na dumating—projects and endorsements. And sana everything will go smoothly, magkaroon ng teleserye... Sana gumaling ako lalo para magkaroon ng movie... alam n'yo yun? Sana yung career path ko, paangat," excited niyang sabi.
Dagdag ni Rocco, "Siyempre, birthday wish ko na rin na good health. Lalo na po 'yon dahil very stressful na po yung nangyayari sa akin kahit nagsisimula pa lang ako. Sana ma-bless ako ng good health para makayanan ko lahat."
