After StarStruck V, sunud-sunod na ang commitments ng Second Prince na si Rocco Nacino. At kahit ito pa lang ang ginagawa niya ay nararanasan na rin niya ang pagod.
"Very tiring po. Pero it's better to be busy na may gingawa ka na alam mong work kesa sa walang ginagawa. Ako, ini-enjoy ko na kahit mga guestings lang muna at photo shoots. Para sa akin, trabaho na rin 'yon.
"Although nakakapagod talaga, at the end of the day, sasabihin mo, may nagawa ako and na-showcase mo rin ang talents mo, na you're doing what you enjoy doing and you're getting appreciated for it. Nakakatuwa," sabi ni Rocco nang makapanayam siya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa taping ng Walang Tulugan With The Master Showman noong Sabado, March 13.
Ibinalita rin ni Rocco sa PEP na sigurado na siyang kasama sa bagong musical-variety show ng GMA-7 na Party Pilipinas. Makakasama rin niya rito ang iba pang StarStruck V Final 5 na sina Steven Silva, Sarah Lahbati, Enzo Pineda, at Diva Montelaba. (CLICK HERE to read related story.)
"Nag-pictorial na kami for the opening billboard. Mag-e-air siya ng March 28," banggit niya.
Ang main hosts ng Party Pilipinas ay sina Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Jaya, at Janno Gibbs; kasama rin ang karamihan ng performers noon sa SOP.
AUDITIONING FOR A ROLE. Totoo bang idadagdag siya sa cast ng afternoon soap na Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak, na tinatampukan nina Dennis Trillo at Jennylyn Mercado?
"Naririnig ko rin ang tungkol do'n," sabi ni Rocco. "Ipapasok daw ako sa week six. Pero nag-audition kaming tatlong boys—ako, si Steven at saka si Enzo for that specific role. So, hindi totoo 'yong balita na pasok na talaga ako do'n. Kumbaga, we have to wait kung sino ang pumasa sa aming tatlo do'n sa role na 'yon. Hopefully makuha ko 'yong role.
"Basta pinag-acting kami ng one scene sa set ng Gumapang... tapos pinanood ni Direk Maryo [de los Reyes]. Hindi naman siya nagbigay ng comments. Pero sabi niya, papanoorin nila tapos ibibigay nila ang recommendation sa 'taas [GMA-7 management]. Sana makuha ko. Ipinagpi-pray ko talaga 'yon."
Ano ba 'yong role na pinag-audition nila?
"Maganda 'yong character. Kasi makokonek siya with Jennylyn and Dennis as the third party sa relasyon nila. Parang magkakaroon ng love triangle. Sana makuha ko kasi gusto ko 'yong role. Para ma-challenge ako sa acting ko," saad niya.
MALL TOURS. Sa ngayon ay abala raw sila sa mall tours. Ang pinakahuli nga ay sa SM Davao noong Linggo, March 14.
"Sa March 20, nasa Bacolod naman kami," kuwento ni Rocco. "Tapos sa iba pang mga lugar this April and May. Nae-enjoy ko naman na kung saan-saan kami nakakarating. Sa March 21 nga birthday ko. Pero since galing kami ng Bacolod, diretso kami ng rehearsal ng Party Pilipinas kahit na-move ang airing ng March 28. But then, siguro may konting oras ako para makapag-lunch with my family. Birthday lunch na lang siguro dahil sa gabi naman, diretso kami ni Diva [Montelaba] sa Tarlac para sa isang show."
SEXY PICTORIAL. Usap-usapan din ang sexy pictorial ni Rocco sa isang beach resort sa Batangas para sa Cosmopolitan magazine. Simula na ba ito para i-entertain niya ang sexy roles?
"I'm now portraying an image na sexy, pero wholesome pa rin," nakangiting sabi ng binata. "Hindi ibig sabihin magbu-bold na rin ako, magtatanggal ako ng pants o shorts. At saka ang limit ko is up to the top lang."
MARKY CIELO FANS. Marami ang nagkukumpara kay Rocco at sa yumaong StarStruck winner na si Marky Cielo. Bukod sa mahusay silang sumayaw ay pareho rin silang moreno. Ito rin siguro ang dahilan kung bakit marami sa mga fans ni Marky ang members na ngayon ng dumaraming Roccofellas fans club ni Rocco.
Ano ang masasabi ni Rocco rito?
"Nakakatuwa po na makita 'yong love nila at pagtingin nila kay Marky ay nagagawa nila sa akin. Siguro dahil sa tingin nila ay may similarities kami. O kaya dahil pareho kami na from Baguio. Pero do'n lang po ako ipinanganak. Hindi po taga-roon ang family ko. Pero nakakatuwa po na gusto nila akong i-support."
Sumakabilang-buhay si Marky noong December 7, 2008 sa edad na 20.
