Actress Sheena Halili, for a time, confessed feeling left out by her more well-known StarStruck contemporaries: "Ako dati nag-worry ako, parang wala naman akong lugar dito sa showbiz kasi hindi naman ako nabibigyan ng work, di ba?

Six years since joining showbiz through GMA-7's reality-based artista search, StarStruck, Sheena Halili remains to be identified in doing supporting roles unlike some of her batchmates who have experienced playing lead roles at least more than twice.
Although Sheena never denied feeling a bit envious towards her contemporaries in the past for fronting big projects, the San Fernando, Pampanga native eventually realized that doing supporting roles offers more opportunities often overlooked by fellow talents.
"May work naman ako.
Sheena told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the entertainment press during a lunch interview held at the Executive Lounge of GMA Network Center earlier today, March 16.
LIKING A BLUE EAGLE. Sheena will be seen in a special Lenten presentation titled Tanikala: Ang Ikalawang Libro, to be shown on Maundy Thursday, April 1, on GMA-7.
The said project is a blessing since Sheena got the chance to do something worth "giving back to the Lord" and at the same exhibit her drama skills as an actress. For someone who often assumes comedy roles, making people cry this time around is a welcome challenge.
Aside from the upcoming Holy Week special, Sheena is co-hosting Pinoy Extreme Talent alongside former Ateneo Blue Eagles sweet-shooting guard Chris Tiu.
The loveless Sheena, who once dated fellow StarStruck survivor Rainier Castillo, hopes to find "Mr. Right" someday.
Baka hinihintay ako ni Chris!" she joked.
Joking aside, Sheena said on her being single: "Siguro hindi binibigay ni God lahat, di ba?
