This week, international singing sensation Charice Pempengco's second single off her first album Pyramid got its official U.S. mainstream radio release.
But even before the major U.S. radio airplay, "Pyramid," the single, has been a favorite among the digitally downloaded songs from iTunes and other digital download stores on the Internet. The remix version was released on iTunes on February 23 this year, while the album version—which is currently enjoying airplay among major U.S. radio stations—was released on March 2, the same day the official music video of this song was released.
NOTE TO GOD. Last year, Charice launched her first single "Note To God" in the Oprah Winfrey Show. It was her first single from her much-awaited album Pyramid under mentor David Foster's label 143 and Warner Brothers Group's Reprise Records.
"Note To God" was first sung by R&B singer JoJo in 2006 and was given to Charice by no less than the composer of the song, multi-awarded composer and Songwriters Hall of Famer Diane Warren ("Because You Loved Me," "Unbreak My Heart," "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing"), who said she wanted Charice right away to re-record "Note To God" after she heard her voice.
"Pyramid", which also features Virgin Islands singer-rapper Iyaz, was written by Swedish songwriter David Jassy and R&B singer Lyrica Anderson and produced by music production group Twin.
Yesterday, New York Post's "PopWrap" section listed "Pyramid" as one of the "fave five music" for this week. "PopWrap" is the U.S. broadsheet's pop culture and lifestyle section.
Currently, "Pyramid" places No. 26 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. Billboard is considered the Bible of the U.S. music industry and the "holy grail" of the U.S. entertainment industry. It is regarded as one of the most relevant and unbiased sources of information on the music industry in the U.S.
Charice's international debut album under Warner Records is scheduled to be released on May 11, 2010.

Way to go Charice!
Did you really search? How come I found the site to prove that?
You seem to have everything against Charice, but I am just wondering why you bothered to read this article and even accusing the writer of inaccurate reporting.
Did you even check your claim about Ogie Diaz saying she has big head? Can you give us proof on that?
I suggest do your research before accusing other people.
I suggest do not blame other people of your inability to appreciate facts.
Ay naku, the haters are coming out of the woodworks again. Just stay in your holes, okay?
