Survivor Philippines: Palau finalist Justine Ferrer says she's now friends with Amanda Colley Van Cooll, the last season's winner, and Jef Gaitan, a fellow finalist. They used to have visible clashes during the competition.

"Okay na kami ngayon. Hindi man kami ganon ka-close, but we're friends. I mean, kapag nagkikita kami, civil lahat, okay kami. Kaya lang siyempre, may kanya-kanya kaming buhay ngayon, so hindi kami madalas nagkikita-kita," she said.

Survivor Philippines: Palau finalist Justine Ferrer did not expect to have a career on television after losing in the reality show. Now, however, the transgender castaway is happy hosting Twit Biz, a showbiz-oriented news program on QTV.

Dun pa sa business na gusto ko, itong pagho-host talaga," Justine told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in an interview during the Gold Spot awarding program held at Encore Club, Taguig City, last March 17.

PEP chanced upon Justine while she was also covering the Gold Spot event, which aimed to recognize the best restaurants in Metro Manila. (CLICK HERE to read related story.)

"I'm very busy doing all the work. Sa field, ganyan...Dun ko binibigay ngayon yung time kasi I love my very first show. Kahit magkaroon pa ako ng mga susunod, hindi ako mawawala dito kasi love ko 'to," she said happily.

Hosting Twit Biz for Justine is not daunting, especially since she gets support and a little help from some press people, who have become her friends.

INDIE FILM. Aside from her first TV show, Justine is also set to appear on her very first indie film titled Pulupot.

She narrates, "Pulupot is a story of a transgender like me. It's a true-to-life story, which is happening to all men, transgender....

Pulupot, directed by Monti Parungao, will also feature Justine's fellow Survivor Philippines finalist Echo Caceres. Justine said she did not find acting that hard.

"Actually hindi naman ako nahirapang gumawa, kasi from before pa, I started stage-acting when I was nine, ten years old. Umiyak ako dito, as in," she said.

NOT READY FOR NEW SEASON. PEP recently reported that Survivor Philippines's next season will feature celebrities. Given the chance, is Justine, who made it to the final three, willing to come back to compete for the million peso prize again?

Ano ba tatanggapin ko ulit?" she asked.

Justine said she'd rather not. I consider a very significant part of my life, but it's a nightmare, I'm telling you, it's a nightmare," she stressed.

NEW SP HOST. When asked to comment about the new host of Survivor Philippines, Justine said, "Siyempre, Paolo is Paolo, Richard is Richard. Meron silang kanya-kanyang field kung saan sila nag-e-excel. So, they can never interchange kung saan man sila nag-e-excel. Puwede nilang magawa but not as best as one can do."

Initially, Richard will go through adjustments, she said, that's why its important to be fit.
