Ang message ni Toni Rose sa kanyang anak:

"James, you know, I love you so much. I'm going to miss you so much. I know you'll be happy. I'll be sad. But I know, yakap-yakap ka na ng totoo mong Ama.  At mas masaya ka sa aming lahat dito. And that alone, you know, gives me peace and strength.

"Sabi ko nga, sa Panginoon, nagpapasalamat ako na pinahiram niya si James sa akin ng 27 years. Thank you, thank you for the wonderful, wonderful blessing. Maaaring sa iba, hindi ganun ang blessing ko, but I am really blessed with my two wonderful sons.  I am really proud of them."

ROSA ROSAL RECOUNTS HOSPITAL SCENE. Nakausap din ng Startalk ang lola ni James na si Ms. Rosa Rosal.

"I was with him when he had his last breath. Kasi, nakita ko noong niri-revive. Sabi ng doctor, 'Okay lang ba sa inyo or we'll stop it?'  Kasi, I've been with the Red Cross, sanay ako sa first aid and everything like that."

Kinuwento niya ang nabanggit na pangako ng apo sa kanya.

"I was talking to him two weeks ago. Kasi, nadulas ako kaya nga ako naka-brace. Ngayon, sabi ko sa kanya, 'James, promise me that even when I'm not still around, you will finish your studies.' Then, sabi niya sa akin, 'Mom, sit down, I want to talk to you.'

"Sabi ko, 'What?' 'Don't worry about us. Of course, we cannot say we'll not grieve when you go,' sabi niyang ganun, 'the Lord takes you home. But then, just remember, God is taking care of us all this time and He will always take care of us.'"

Patuloy ng veteran actress, "Sa ngayon, hindi pa masyadong nagsi-sink in sa akin. Yung wake, we're gonna make sure that it's going to be tonight, then, Sunday, I'm gonna take him home. Dun muna siya sa akin."

Ayon pa sa lola niya, "Praise Him not just for the good times but also in bad times. So, there's no need why his death was the last... Thank You, Lord. Thank You for taking him home. Praise You, Praise You.  Ang konsuwelo namin ni Toni, I know that he's in the arms of Jesus right now...

"God has blessed us with wonderful boys also. Ang mga pangalan pa nga nila ay John at James."

GRIEVING BROTHER. Nakausap din ng Startalk ang kapatid ni James na si  John Lim. 

"Hindi ko matanggap... hindi ko matanggap that I lost yung kasama ko. Matagal ko nang kasama. Isang tao na mahal na mahal ko. Wala na siya," ang pahayag ni John na hindi rin napigilan ang pagtulo ng luha.

"Yung uuwi ako tonight na magkatabi pa kami ng kuwarto. Uuwi ako tonight na wala... madalas sinasalubong niya 'ko. Pero wala na siya. Kinuha na siya ni Jesus."

Dugtong pa niya, "I'm glad that I've known my brother for 27 years. And parang magkikita rin naman kami someday.  We can never escape that and it's just so hard na kami ang mga maiiwan. And siya... hindi na siya ganung mahihirapan.
