Solong pangangalaga na ni Ruffa Gutierrez ang kanyang dalawang anak na sina Lorin at Venice sa asawa nitong si Yilmaz Bektas. Pinaboran ng mababang hukuman ang inihaing petition ni Ruffa Gutierrez for sole custody.
May of last year nag-file ng petisyon ang aktres at medyo nabigla raw ito na pinanigan siya ng korte.
"Kasi, during those days that you don't expect anything na may good news na darating, nakakataba ng puso. I think good things are coming my way," sabi niya.
Magkakaroon ba ng visitation rights si Yilmaz?
"Ay, walang problema. Well, you know, I just kept the custody case very simple. Ni hindi nga ako humingi ng suporta. Well, para sa akin, well, I mean, for me, kusa namang magbibigay ang ama, siya na lang ang magbigay."
YILMAZ AND DAUGHTERS. Nasabihan na raw ni Ruffa si Yilmaz tungkol sa desisyon ng korte.
"Yes, I informed him through text. And hindi pa siya sumasagot sa akin. Nag-usap naman kami ni Yilmaz last week at sinabi naman niya na ibibigay niya yung custody sa akin because he believes a mother should be taking care of the kids."
Parating na raw sa bansa ang estranged husband na taga-Turkey.
"He's supposed to come next week. Hinihingi na nga niya yung mga size ng mga bata kung ano ang size ng shoes, ng clothes. So, hopefully, matutuloy na siya next week."
Sa nakaraang press conference para sa movie ni Ruffa na Working Girls, nasabi niya na, "Importante lang talaga na magkaroon siya ng isang magandang relationship, si Yilmaz and the kids. At pagkakataon na rin ito para magkausap kami nang masinsinan dahil matagal na rin kaming hindi nagkikita at nag-uusap."
ANNULMENT. Sinabi ni Ruffa na pinag-uusapan na nila ni Yilmaz ang annulment ng kanilang kasal. Ibig sabihin ba nito'y handa na rin siyang humanap ng bagong mapapangasawa?
"Hindi pa siguro ako ready na ma-in love. Wala naman sigurong masama kung may mga ka-text ako, may mga ka-dinner ako. You know, that's just normal na wala kang companion.
"But I think, I would like to close the past first before I go into a serious relationship. I'm still not ready for that."
Kumusta na nga ba siya a week after magpaalam sa dating network, ang ABS-CBN?
"Para sa akin, tapos na tapos na. I'm already looking forward."
What about Kris Aquino, na nakaalitan niya dahil diumano sa mga "condescending remarks" nito sa kanya?
"Hindi pa siya nagri-reach out sa akin. Pero baka sakaling sira ang phone niya, bigyan ko na lang siya ng Nokia, di ba?" natatawang hirit ni Ruffa na bagong endorser ng Nokia.
