Noong Monday, April 5, inumpisahan nang dinggin ang kasong isinampa ni Katrina Halili laban kay Hayden Kho, sa ilalim ng Republic Act 9262, ang Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act.
Kahapon sa Startalk, April 10, ipinakita ang interview kay Katrina at Hayden, at gayundin sa kani-kanilang legal counsel na sina Atty. Raymund Palad at Atty. Lorna Kapunan, sa Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 159 kunsaan nililitis ang kaso.
Ayon sa abogado ni Katrina na si Atty. Palad, "Nag-testify si Ms. Katrina para i-prove yung kaso niya against Hayden, particularly yung violation niya against RA9262, pati yung claim niya na one hundred million."
DAMAGES. Humihingi ng P100 million in moral damages si Katrina mula sa dating boyfriend na si Hayden Kho dahil sa pagkuha nito ng sex video sa kanya nang palihim at ang pagkalat nito sa Internet.
Ang sabi naman ng lawyer ni Hayden na si Atty. Kapunan, "Meron silang claim of damages, wala namang prinodyus na kontrata, so we objected at sabi ng court, 'Please produce the contract'...
"Sabi ng court, magbayad ng filing fee for hundred million damages. Meron pang hearing next week."
Ayon sa isang pahayagan, sinabi raw ni Atty. Palad na mga P3 million pesos ang docket fee para sa pag-file ng ganoon kalaking damage claim.
Sa loob daw ng korte, pinaupo muna ni Judge Rodolfo Bonifacio sa likuran niya ang ina ni Hayden na si Irene Kho, para di siya makita ni Katrina habang nagbibigay ang aktres ng testimonya.
ANGER AND MEMORIES REVIVED. Nang makausap ng Startalk si Katrina, hindi nito itinanggi na masakit para sa kanya ang ginawang testimonya.
"Kasi paulit-ulit na inano nga yung videotape. Hindi ko nga pinanood, ayokong tingnan."
Ayon kay Atty. Kapunan, "Tapos na ang testimony ni Katrina. Meron lang konting difficulties yung sex video. Quote and unquote, sex video.
Pahayag naman ni Atty. Palad, "Hindi pa tapos yung testimony, babalik pa kami sa April 19. Maganda naman yung pagka-testify niya, but we're not allowed to discuss in details."
Matapos ang hearing, nagmamadaling lumabas si Hayden, at sinabi sa mga reporters na nagtatanong sa kanya, "Hintayin na lang po nating matapos ang hearing. Hintayin na lang po nating ang court ang mag-decide."
"Hindi ko po siya gaanong matingnan, e," ang sabi naman ni Katrina tungkol sa dating boyfriend. "Hindi po talaga ako sanay. Di ba, first time ko nga po run kanina. Siyempre, nauulit, sobrang lumalabas na naman yung galit, di ba?"
