Is Sarah Geronimo a turncoat from Nacionalista Party to Liberal Party?

It can be remembered that last month, vice-presidential candidate Loren Legarda formally introduced Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo as her celebrity endorser. At a press conference held last March 29, the young singer-actress said that it was her personal decision to endorse Sen. Legarda because, "Ako naman po kasi, naniniwala talaga ako kay Senator Loren Legarda sa magagawa niya sa bansa po natin." (CLICK HERE to read related article.) 

However, earlier today, April 26, a photo of Sarah circulated on the Internet doing the "L" or "Laban" sign of the Liberal Party—the official political party of presidential candidate Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III and vice-presidential candidate Mar Roxas.

Some questioned the photo's authenticity, others believe that it was taken years back.

When PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) checked the other comments on the said photo, which first came out in the social networking site Twitter,  some speculated that it might have been taken during the funeral of the late President Corazon "Cory" Aquino.

Sarah was present during former President Aquino's funeral mass last August 5, 2009, where she sang the People Power Revolution anthem "Magkaisa."

There were also comments hinting that this photo was taken during the 2007 senatorial elections. 

At that time, Sarah was endorsing Senator Edgardo Angara, who was then seeking his fourth term under the Laban ng Demokratikong Pilipino, which could be the reason Sarah was photographed doing the "L" sign.

On the other hand, ABS-CBN News reporter Marie Lozano posted in her Twitter account that, "Viva Big Boss Vic Del Rosario suspects picture of Sarah G. has been photo edited. Sarah still supports Villar-Loren."
