Rhian Ramos denied spending time with controversial radio and television personality Mo Twister in Paris, France.
Speaking to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the entertainment media last night, June 4, at the PLDT myDSL Watchpad event at M Café in Greenbelt 4, Makati City, Rhian said that she was in the Netherlands for a vacation and not in Paris.
The issue started after Ruffa Gutierrez announced recently on TV5's showbiz talk show Paparazzi that Rhian and Mo were together at the romantic tourist destination.
Rhian dismissed Ruffa's claim as nothing more than a simple joke among close friends.
"The very second na lumabas 'yong issue, online ako. And in fairness naman kay Ruffa, right away nung nag-reply ako, sabi niya 'Sorry, sorry, niloloko ko lang kayo,'" related Rhian.
"Ikaklaro ko lang na walang galit-galit dito," the actress-host quickly added. "Magkakaibigan kaming tatlo nila Ruffa and Mo, and siyempre puwede naman kaming magbiruan."
Ruffa and Mo, continued Rhian, also sent her a message via Twitter to apologize for the remark.
"Nag-sorry silang dalawa," she mentioned. "Sabi nila, 'Sorry, nasali ka pa. Nag-aasaran lang kami.'"
NO ROMANCE. The rumor linking Rhian and Mo has been going on for quite some time even before the supposed Paris engagement came up.
Mo has been very vocal in expressing his admiration for the mestiza actress.
"Ewan ko dun!" smiled Rhian. "Kasi puwede naman niyang sabihin na crush niya 'ko pero hindi naman niya sinasabi or anything. Alam mo naman si Mo, maloko lang siya pero I don't take it naman na, 'Wow, crush niya 'ko!'"
But what's the real score between them?
"I don't think anything's going on," stressed Rhian. "Basically we have the same relationship that we've always had. Always naman kaming nagsabi na we're very close friends."
As for the nagging issue linking them together, Rhian has this to say: "Hindi ko nga alam kung bakit kailangang ibalik pa. Matagal na namin 'tong sinagot back when nung pinu-promote namin ang Ouija [suspense-horror film shown in 2007]... I'm not seeing anyone right now. Hindi naman sa hindi ako open pero ewan ko, parang mas gusto ko lang mag-concentrate sa trabaho ko ngayon."
