Leonardo DiCaprio in the Philippines!
This is according to publicist Joyce Ramirez, also the lead PR of the project who's into talks on possibly bringing the Hollywood A-list actor to the country early next year.
The Titanic star is presently promoting his latest Hollywood movie Inception, written and directed by Christopher Nolan. Opening this July 16, the sci-fi thriller also stars Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Oscar winner Marion Cottilard.
He plans to visit "an island" sometime between January to March 2011 for an environmental awareness project in partnership with the private sector.
Leonardo DiCaprio is an active advocate of expanding global awareness on environmental issues, using his fame as an actor to reach out to audiences in promoting environmental campaigns, such as the "worldwide movement to eliminate the use of plastic bags."
