Kim Chiu is getting much more attention than ever before with her recent inclusion in the Bench fashion show Uncut and her top spot in YES! Magazine's Most Beautiful list.

But modesty is still in Kim's nature and she demonstrated this during her interview with The Buzz's KC Concepcion and Boy Abunda yesterday, July 4.

When asked about her reaction to being labeled "Most Beautiful," Kim gushed and said, "Nagtago ako! Sabi ko sa sarili ko, 'Totoo ba iyon?' Parang nakakahiya, pero nagpapasalamat ako sa YES!, sobra! Sabi ko nga sa kanila na iyong magazine, e bibili ako nang marami at itatago ko talaga nang buong-buo."

Kim has been in showbiz for only four years and she never imagined that she would attain stardom and gain such recognition in so short a time. Five years ago, she was just an ordinary teen watching TV. "Maraming chismis!" recalled Kim of the days when she was just a kid with no showbiz goals whatsoever. "Parang ang sarap ng feeling na nandito na ako sa stage niyo and lagi niyo akong sinusuportahan."

WORRIED FOR GERALD. Kim felt even less composure when talking about love team partner Gerald Anderson, who fainted and hyperventilated at an earlier dance show.

"Umuwi muna siya," Kim worriedly said. "Pero kanina nag-hyperventilate siya at sobrang lamig ng kamay niya pero tinuloy niya ang buong show. Inalalayan namin siya sa dressing room at sabi namin na pag hindi na kaya, huwag na ituloy."

Kim's affection for Gerald can't go unnoticed, so it was time for some closure for their fans. Boy, who wanted a direct answer, asked, "Do you love each other? I'll be very blunt."

"Love," smiled Kim. "Mahal ko siya bilang kaibigan at bilang special na tao sa buhay ko."

Does she feel that he loves her in a more romantic way?

After a squeal she laughingly asked,"More than friends? Siyempre nagsusuportahan kami sa isa't isa ngayon and wala ako dito kung hindi dahil sa kanya."

Are there times when she misses him when he's far away?

At that moment, tears came to Kim's eyes and with a breaking voice she answered, "Masaya lang ako kasi umabot kami sa ganito... Simula sa PBB hanggang ngayon... Masaya kami kasi magkasama kami sa lahat ng ginagawa namin."

When asked if she's worried right now about Gerald's condition, she admitted, "Medyo, kasi parang... First time nangyari sa akin, pero kinabahan kami. Pero okay naman siya."
