Robin Padilla is not going back to Wowowee.

Despite the rave reviews for his two-week hosting stint in ABS-CBN's noontime show, the action star decided to say no to ABS-CBN's offer.

Last May 30, at the Jag's Dstrukt: Denim Wars fashion show, Robin vaguely said, "Hindi ko pa alam," when asked if he's keen on replacing the show's controversial host Willie Revillame.

A month later, a network insider told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) the he was coming back to daytime programming with his own show. But "idol" kept mum on the subject.

Three hours ago, his talent manager Betchay Vidanes confirmed that the Wowowee deal did not materialize.

Here's her brief official statement, which was sent via text at 11:30 p.m.:

"In a letter dated July 12, 2010, Mr. Robin Padilla formally notified ABS-CBN of his decision to decline the Network's earlier offer for him to host its Wowowee noontime show. Mr. Padilla cited his personal values and beliefs as the reasons for his said decision."
