Is Zanjoe Marudo still in love with his ex-girlfriend Mariel Rodriguez? He responded, "Hindi naman mawawala yun. Tunay naman ang pagmamahalan namin."

For the final episode of the horror film Cinco titled "Puso," Zanjoe Marudo will scare moviegoers as he chases his co-star Pokwang inside a local perya. This episode is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina and also stars Bangs Garcia as the girlfriend of Zanjoe.

PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) interviewed the actor during the cast party of Cinco last night, July 13, at the Chef's Quarter restaurant at SM Megamall.

There have been rumors saying that Cristine Reyes is the third party involved in his breakup with Mariel Rodriguez. Is this true?

"Walang naging third party. Walang ganung issue. Sana ngayon nakikita n'yo na [kami ni Cristine]. Ang tagal na nun, e," said Zanjoe.

Is he still in love with Mariel?

"Hindi naman mawawala yun. Tunay naman ang pagmamahalan namin."

Does he regret that their three-year relationship ended?

"Ganun talaga, e. Merong mga bagay na dumarating talaga sa ganung punto. Hindi naman natin makokontrol yun, e. Yung mga pinagsamahan naman namin, masasaya naman kaya okay na yun," he replied.

When PEP asked if he is willing to work with Mariel in the future, he replied, "Kung may offer...Depende sa project."

Cinco has been graded B by the Cinema Evaluation Board. It is currently being screened in cinemas nationwide. (CLICK HERE to read more about this Star Cinema film.)
