Ang controversial basketball player na si Alex Crisano ang male celebrity endorser ng Contours Advanced Face and Body Sculpting Institute. Ang female counterpart niya ay ang fashion icon at Celebrity Duets winner na si Tessa Prieto-Valdes.
Bukod sa kanyang mas well-defined body, kapansin-pansin din kay Alex ang kanyang positibong pananaw sa buhay ngayon.
Kapag nababanggit nga ang Boracay escapades nito apat na taon na ang nakararaan, noong magkasintahan pa sila ng comedienne na si Ethel Booba, ang depensa agad ng basketbolista ay ayaw na niya itong maalala pa.
"Siyempre, I'm moving forward now," sabi niya sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal). "Success is always in the future, not in the past. I'm a much happier and stronger person now. I know what I'm gonna do in life—to be successful. And at the same time, professionally, I guess along this way, there's a lot of stepping stones. You have to learn to step on the right way. Before, I keep on stepping the wrong way without thinking.
"I guess going through this experience in life, you have to go down and get back up. And I've been down so many times and I got up so many times. Gusto ko nandiyan ako sa taas, nandiyan lang ako.
"No regrets in life. Gusto ko yung experiences ko. Kasi kung walang experiences, wala kang iisipin kung ano ang gusto mong direksyon sa buhay ko. Siyempre, every mistake and everything you do in life, you have to get to feel it, for you to become a better person. You have to go through it, I never regret it in anything that I do. Aminado naman si Alex na nakasira rin ang lovelife sa kanya.
"Yeah, that's one thing I didn't wanna do," sabi niya. "That's wasn't my idea. I guess being a star or being in the limelight, siyempre almost every day paparazzi ako. If I go here, nandiyan yung camera. Siyempre, iba yung feeling, wow!
"This is different from being a basketball player. Basketball player is being sikat in a very sports way or professional way. But being a professional basketball player and having a lovelife with somebody else is totally different. I'm in the limelight and, of course, I don't want to do it, 'coz I don't know how to handle it. But I guess, like I said, I'm happy now. Everything is smooth right now. I'm happy that things moved on."
Aminado rin ang Fil-Am basketball player na naging mainitin ang ulo niya at laging nasabak sa away.
"Oo, kasi lagi namang mag-away. Walang tulog talaga. Gusto ko pagtulog sa bahay, tulog na. Pero pag uwi sa bahay, four 'o clock, bukas may game. Siyempre, pagpunta ka ng court, walang tulog, siyempre mainit ang ulo. And I am a changed man now! For you to be able to be successful, you have to change the things you've done in the past.
"My vibes is more strong now because I've already been down. Everybody took a shot on me when I was down. Everybody took a piece of me when I was in a low. And when I came back up, you take a piece of me, I take a piece of you too. In a good way, not in a negative way, like cursing at you or degrading at you because misunderstanding, di ba? So, it's okay lang. Yung mga tao, sinasabi nila 'bad boy, bad boy, pasaway.' Now, I'm saying I'm a bad boy? Look at my smile. I'm happy now."
ETHEL BOOBA. Wala raw alam si Alex sa kung ano na ang nangyayari sa kanyang ex-girlfriend na si Ethel Booba.
"I don't know, I haven't seen her. Like I said, I'm happy for her because she's staying away from me. I'm happy that she's staying away from me. I think we had a lot of misunderstandings. A lot of misexcuse. And like I said, without me going through these steps in life, I won't be the man I am today," saad niya.
Kasunod nito ang pagkukumpirma na goodbye na talaga silang dalawa ni Ethel.
"About two years ago, I finally...I walked out. I told her to get out of the house. I was hurting, of course. What can she say?" sabi niya.
Ayaw pag-usapan ni Alex ang akusasyon ni Ethel na ninakaw umano ni Alex ang mga kasangkapan at ilang personal na gamit niya.
"It's not even an issue. That's her issue, not mine. I'm not trying to call this presscon for me to be moving on. This presscon isn't talking about my past. I'm talking about the future. I'm talking about taking care of my kids. I'm talking about the things that I should have taken care of before. I'm taking care of it now."
ALEX AS A FATHER. Apat ang anak ni Alex sa tatlong magkakaibang babae—Joshua (14), Alex (10), Aliya (8), at Vinny (6).
"Like I said, we made mistakes and we gotta come back in everything you do. Just what I'm trying to do. Of course, I've changed for my kids. I want my kids to have a bright future than I do. I want them to learn from my mistakes and say my father did this but, look, he came back from the grave and show them that their dad is a better person."
Maliban sa kanyang panganay na anak na nasa poder ng kapatid niya, ang tatlo niyang anak ay nasa pangangalaga ng kani-kanilang mga ina. Pero ayon kay Alex, ginagawan niya ng paraan na matupad ang responsibilidad niya sa mga ito, kahit hindi niya nakakasama ang mga ito.
