Simula nang i-announce ni Ogie Alcasid ang magiging kasal nila ni Regine Velasquez sa December, marami na ang interesado sa mga wedding plans nila. Tulad ng kung sino ang gagawa ng wedding gown ni Regine.
Sa Startalk kahapon, August 28, sinabi ni Ogie na nag-email na siya kay Monique Lhuillier, isang Filipino designer na kilala sa U.S. and among Hollywood celebrities.
WEDDING GOWN. Aalis raw si Regine papuntang Amerika kasama si Dra. Vicki Belo para masukatan na ni Lhuillier, pero totoo ba ang balitang si Duktora ang magbabayad para sa gown?
"Hindi ko alam kung saan nanggaling yun. I'm not sure kung totoo yun, but Regine is leaving for L.A. Pero hindi ako makakasama kasi may mga taping din ako. Kaya nag-usap kami na si Regine na lang ang aalis."
May balitang worth one million pesos daw ang magiging gastos sa wedding gown.
"No, no, that's not true. Alam niyo, si Monique Lhuillier e Filipina. At isa sa mga dream kasi ni Regine e makasuot ng damit na gawa ni Monique Lhuillier. E, dati ko pa kasing naririnig sa kanya yun.
"So, sabi ko, e, dapat sa wedding, Monique Lhuillier ang suot niya. So, I wrote Monique a letter and sabi ko, 'Ako ang endorser niyo rito, sa M. Lhuillier [Financial Services, Inc.]' and siyempre, sabi niya, 'Oo, naman, kilala kita.'
"So, yun, nakakatuwa naman. Alam ko na meron siyang mga gown na ganoon kamahal but I think hindi naman ganoon kamahal yung kukunin namin. Nakasiksik sa budget naman," biro pa ni Ogie.
Isa rin daw sa magiging wedding sponsors nina Ogie at Regine ay ang mga magulang ni Monique Lhuillier.
Ayon nga kay Ogie, "Bilang ang mga Lhuillier naman ay malapit sa akin and I already spoke to them at tuwang-tuwa sila at excited sila sa wedding."
NEW MUSIC VIDEO. Bukod sa kasal ng dalawa, may dapat pa raw abangan kay Ogie. Ito ay ang bago niyang music video kunsaan ang makakasama niya ay ang bagong contract star ng GMA-7 na si Gwen Zamora.
Si Ogie nga raw ang pumili sa dalaga na makasama sa MTV.
"Nakakatuwa siya. Maganda ang mukha niya. She's willing to learn. So, nagsa-suggest sila ng mga bagong artista, sabi ko, 'May nakita ako, maganda siya, si Gwen.' So, I'm happy she's doing it with me."
