"When I decided to transfer to TV5, kasama na rin do'n talaga ang paninindigan ko to let go of Survivor. You can't have your cake and eat it too, e. So, yung mentality ko was, oo, mami-miss mo, but you know that you're doing something way different now. In many ways, something bigger. So, it's nothing to feel bad about," says Paolo Bediones.

Kasama si Paolo Bediones among the talents of Noel Ferrer na nagpunta ng Enchanted Kingdom last Sunday, August 29.
Ayon kay Paolo, "Ever since naman, we always look for ways to share our blessing. I always enjoyed being with little kids, e. Especially yung little sister ko, beybing-baby pa 'yan, tinutukan namin 'yan. I'm very comfortable with kids, enjoy ako sa kanila.
"Noong tinanong ako kung okay sa akin na mag-storytelling, I'm on the side of my personality na minsan ko lang naano na... Siyempre, we're out in the news, iba yung environment na yun. So, ito, parang breath of fresh air for me being with kids and doing something na enjoy ka, yung storytelling. And it's such a way na puwede mong i-enjoy ang creativity mo. Yung pagiging playful mo, di ba?
"It's also a great way of reaching out to kids. Parang bihira naman tayo nagkakaroon ng a sort of role model or a kuya. Ito na yung chance natin talaga kaya sobrang excited kaming lahat."
Bukod sa project nilang ito kasama ng talents ni Noel, iniisip din daw ni Paolo ang training sa Red Cross at gusto niya itong i-share rin yun sa mga kasama niya.
"Hopefully, magtugma-tugma ang mga schedules namin para certified first aider na rin sila at saka CPR. It's not naman for anything heroic. Even at home, puwede kang maging gano'n, di ba?" sabi ni Paolo sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
SURVIVOR PHILIPPINES.
"Well, ako naman ano, e, when I decided to transfer to TV5, kasama na rin do'n talaga ang paninindigan ko to let go of Survivor," sagot niya. "You can't have your cake and eat it too, e. So, yung mentality ko was, oo, mami-miss mo, but you know that you're doing something way different now. In many ways, something bigger. So, it's nothing to feel bad about.
"Ako before," patuloy niya, "akala ko maaano ako, e... Alam mo yun, iba ang samahan namin, e. Pero ako, they were asking me for advice, yung mga producers, yung ganyan. Siyempre, I give my two-cents worth. I hope na ma-maintain nila yung standards na na-set for first two seasons. And of course, I wish them the best.
"It's not easy to do that show. Hindi siya madali. At maraming mga challenges sila this season. Even if I'm not supposed to be aware of it, napapaabot nila sa akin ang mga bagay-bagay. Kasi, kaibigan ko nga ang mga iba do'n. Humihingi ng advice, nagpe-Facebook... But of course, I draw the line. I remind them that I cannot give advice as to how to run the show. I can only give advice on how to handle certain situations in terms of yung emotional stuff at states ng mga tao diyan. Anong challenge dapat."
Kilala rin daw ni Paolo ang karamihan ng celebrity castaways ng Survivor Philippines. Pero ayon sa kanya, wala naman sa kanya ang panghihinayang.
"Wala naman, wala naman. I was supposed to host that show. But like I've said, when you said move on, you really have to move on and be happy for people that you know. I'm excited for the castaways because I know what they went through and I know what they'll go through now na eere siya.
"Pero yun nga, I'm more focused now with my work. People have asked me, 'Manonood ka ba?' You know what, before I thought tututukan ko talaga. Pero now, sa sobrang dami ng ginagawa namin, wala, I don't get to watch TV. I only get to watch my episode online. I'm sure one day, mapapanood ko rin 'yan, unlike before na yung buong-buo ano talaga."
"I haven't seen him host, e. I haven't seen him host a program like that. Iba yung reality, e. I've seen him during SOP, pero sa reality show, hindi ko pa siya nakikita, so I can't judge.
"Of course, I won't even... You know, at the end of the day, pagkatapos ng lahat, hindi ako magbibigay ng opinion. It's not my place anymore. Parang ayoko nang nandoon pa rin ako. Let go na talaga. I really want to let go.
"But I wish him the best. I wish the whole team the best. Hindi madali 'yan, from the editing, post-prod, lahat ng gagawin nila. They are very lucky that they were given a slot after 24 Oras. During my time, gabi kami," sabi ni Paolo.
