Two years nang walang karelasyon si Sam Milby since his breakup with Anne Curtis. Pero aminado naman ang Fil-Am actor-singer na he's dating someone now—international singer Marie Digby.
"Pero nasa States siya at ako nandito," banggit ni Sam sa panayam sa kanya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa launch ng Fun Run ng Blue Water Day Spa last September 2, sa Encore (dating Embassy Superclub) sa The Fort, Taguig.
Paglilinaw pa niya, "Pero, I mean, we're not... there's no commitment. She's single, I'm single, and we're just enjoying, you know, texting and talking on the phone."
May mutual understanding na ba sila?
"Hindi, not even MU," diin ni Sam. "No commitment talaga, walang commitment talaga. Dating, yeah. Dating, but not exclusively. Ako din dito, same with me... I mean, wala siyang say kung..."
Wala silang ground rules?
"Wala, wala. Siyempre mahirap talaga kasi long distance talaga, kailan lang yung... Mahirap talaga 'yon e, so... I'm not saying na hindi puwedeng mangyari, pero basta we're enjoying, you know, just talking and ganun lang.
"Pero no commitment at all. And ako, I mean, I need to concentrate on my career right now. Kasi lalo na sa Tagalog and being on Idol too, I need to concentrate. I mean, I really need to push myself."
Two years nang walang karelasyon si Sam.
I don't look at it that way na I can get any girl I want. I mean, you know, unang-una, bata pa ako, I'm still... You know, I'm still young, wala pa akong plano na mag-asawa or anything. Siyempre, masarap naman maging in love, to have somebody to inspire you," sabi ng 26-year-old actor.
Hindi rin daw iyon pinipilit o minamadali.
"It's nothing na hahanapin ko. Pag mangyayari, mangyayari. It just hasn't happened yet."
INDIE MOVIE.
Why the title?
Ipinaliwanag ni Sam ang kanyang role: "Kasi siyempre, ang Pilipinas, third world, parang masaya sa...it's a very different story.
Kim [Chiu] at Gerald [Anderson]. Para sa akin, I mean, Kim-Gerald, they came from PBB, they're really ano, their love team is really strongest talaga in the Philippines."
Pero dugtong niya, "Very, very thankful ako na I still have work, and lalo na this year, I really wanna push myself more. Kasi yung last four years, hindi naman ako magaling mag-Tagalog. Pero ngayon, this year, I really want to make that ano, [my] priority.
