Actor Sam Milby expressed his happiness on the turnout of the first airing of the ABS-CBN musical-comedy series iDOL last Monday, September 5. His co-stars include Sarah Geronimo and Coco Martin.

"Actually, wala akong balita tungkol sa ratings, pero andaming magagandang feedback. So, [I'm] very, very happy," the 26-year-old actor-singer said in an interview with PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at the press conference of Tupperware brands yesterday, September 7, at the Bahia Rooftop of Intercontinental Hotel in Makati City.

However, Sam admitted that he wasn't able to watch the premiere episode of iDOL because he was driving and was on his way to a shoot.

Though happy with his new teleserye, he said he would also miss his afternoon teleserye with Maja Salvador, Precious Heart Romances' Impostor. Incidentally, Maja was also at the presscon that afternoon along with Marvin Agustin.

"Parang nakaka-miss yung taping namin," Sam said.

During the fourth Star Magic Ball last September 5, the singer-actor walked the red carpet solo for the first time.

"It was something new for me, pero okay lang. I knew naman the people there, so okay lang," he explained. 

Interestingly, Sam's ex-girlfriend, Anne Curtis, also arrived at the Makati Shangri-La all by her lonesome.
