Young actress Shaina Magdayao finally breaks her silence about the nasty rumor involving her and boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz.

Shaina vehemently denied the rumor at the press conference of her new afternoon series, Precious Hearts Romances Presents Alyna, held earlier this afternoon, September 16, on the 14th floor of ABS-CBN.

"No, hindi po totoo 'yon," Shaina firmly said.

She expressed her disappointment at those who had started the rumor.

"Nakakalungkot lang na merong mga tao na hindi ko po alam kung saan parte ng isip nila nakuha 'yon. I think it's the most outrageous tsismis ever sa industriya natin!" Shaina exclaimed.  

She added, as if to lighten the mood, "Masyado ho yata siyang nanonood ng Grey's Anatomy (a U.S. medical drama series)."

The nasty rumor, which started going around early September, pointed to Shaina and John Lloyd as the couple who were rushed to a private hospital after suffering from a very rare medical condition called "penis captivus."

This medical condition, according to wordiq.com, refers to a situation "where muscles in the vagina clamp down on the penis much more firmly than usual, making it impossible for the penis to withdraw from the vagina regardless of erection status."

Shaina said she found the rumor totally absurd.

"Nakakalungkot na pinag-isipan pa nila kami ng mga bagay.

"Kasi kung iisipin po natin, kahit naman sa normal na tao, kung totoo nga talagang nangyari yung ganun, pupunta ka ba naman sa ospital?

"Kami pa kaya na public figure? Alam namin na kahit anong gawin namin, e, mababalitaan ng lahat ng tao."

She thanked those who stood by her despite the issue.

"Unang-una po, gusto ko muna magpasalamat sa lahat ng dumedepensa sa amin ni John Lloyd.

"Maraming maraming salamat po, sincerely from the bottom of our hearts sa pagtatanggol n'yo sa amin. Tinatanaw po namin itong malaking utang na loob."
