Stars and fans stormed Gloriettta and SM Megamall Cinema 10 for the premiere screening of Viva's Petrang Kabayo last night, October 10.

With the 900-seater SM Megamall Cinema 10 occupied and more than a hundred people standing, the premiere night of Petrang Kabayo was jampacked.

Vice Ganda, the lead star of the comedy-fantasy remake of the 1988 Filipino comedy film Petrang Kabayo, was overwhelmed with the reception of the people as well as the support from friends in the industry.

He said, "Basta hindi ko pa talaga maintindihan. Ako'y nawiwindang pa hanggang ngayon. Hindi pa ako nakaka-recover sa mga pangyayari. Sobrang high na high ako."

The stand-up-comedian and unevictable judge of ABS-CBN's Showtime expressed his overflowing joy over the success of the back-to-back premiere screening of Petrang Kabayo.

"Hindi ko alam. Hindi ko ma-explain. Basta ang alam ko, masayang-masaya ako. Sobrang pasabog na yung puso ko sa nararamdaman kong saya ngayon," said Vice, still in daze.

Other cast members who were present that night were Luis Manzano, Candy Pangilinan, Sam Pinto, Makisig Morales, John Arcilla, Eagle Riggs, DJ Durano, Tom Rodriguez, Ricky Rivero, Abby Bautista, and Ms. Gloria Romero.

Vice Ganda's co-hosts in Showtime—Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Teddy Corpuz, and Jugs Jugueta—were also there in full force.

Other celebs spotted were Toni Gonzaga, Enchong Dee, Kean Cipriano of Callalily, Kaye Abad, Jon Avila, sisters Alessandra de Rosi and Assunta de Rossi, Gladys Reyes, Dionne Monsanto, and Kitkat, among others.

"Lahat ng in-invite ko dumating. Lahat ng gusto kong makita, nakita ko ngayon," said Vice.

With Vice's first comedy film a success, Vice said that making people laugh would be his primary mission for now.

"Basta ang alam ko lang, ang gusto ko makapagpatawa, makapagpasaya. Kasi yun ang alam kong kailangan ng tao─tumawa. Kaya yun muna ibibigay ko," said Vice, who was obviously on cloud nine that night.

THE RECEPTION. Throughout the screening of Petrang Kabayo, laughter of people resounded, especially during Pedro/Petra/Peter's (Vice's characters) lines, dialogues, and actions.

The funny antics of the characters Erickson (Luis Manzano) and the young Pedro (Makisig Morales) also tickled the audience. .

The volleying of insults of Vice Ganda's character and of his half-sister (Abby Bautista) was a pleasant surprise that added oomph to the comedy.
