Last Friday, October 8, Isabel Oli already clarified to PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that she is not going out with basketball player James Yap. In fact, the actress revealed that she was with her steady non-showbiz date when she bumped into James in a mall recently. (CLICK HERE to read related article.)
James admitted to ABS-CBN News that Isabel is his friend but they did not go on a date.
"Kaibigan ko lang 'yon," said James in an interview aired on TV Patrol last October 13. "Nagkasalubong lang kami sa isang mall, hi, hello.
"May kasama naman siya, so impossibleng [nag-date kami]. Kasama ko ang mga pinsan ko, galing Canada. Sinamahan ko sila. Nagulat na lang ako na may ganoong issue na lumalabas."
The estranged husband of Kris Aquino pointed out that he is not yet ready to be in a relationship since he is still dealing with the petition of nullification of marriage filed by Kris last August. They were married for five years and their union produced a son, Baby James.
"Ang sasabihin ko lang, kung mayroon na ako, sasabihin ko sa buong mundo. Hindi, hindi ganun kadali," said the basketball player.
James also revealed that a doctor has advised him to postpone his visit to his three-year-old-son who has been diagnosed with hand, foot and mouth disease. (CLICK HERE to read related story.)
"Simula noong nagkasakit sila, hindi ko pa sila nakita. Nakausap ko siya, happy na ako. Sabi kasi ng doktor na bawal daw munang dalawin dahil nakakahawa raw. Mga one more week pa."
