"Sa simula, I have to be honest with them [fellow jurors], and sabi ko, medyo late bloomer ako pagdating sa film, so don't expect too much from me. But during the deliberation, napapakinggan naman ako and natutuwa naman ako na when I say something, nakikinig naman sila," actor-entrepreneur Marvin Agustin narrates his stint as a juror at the recently concluded 37th Brussels International Film Festival.

Magsisimula ako na parang I'll rescue Iza sa lahat ng panggugulo sa buhay niya, until I get obsessed with her.

"Maganda 'yong twist ng character, so nakaka-excite, and then Direk Joel Lamangan pa ang magiging guide ko. I'm nervous but happy and excited."

Marvin is a business partner of the resto, making it the tenth brand tucked under the young actor's chain of restaurants scattered around the metro.

FAIR DELIBERATION.

Ginanap ang international film festival noong November 2 to 7.

(CLICK HERE to read related article.)

"I would always be the last to say something kasi meron tayong pelikula. In fact, sa Best Screenplay category, I went with the judges na lang.

"Kasi, there were two movies na walang English subtitle and may nagta-translate lang sa akin, so hindi ko nakukuha 'yong buong screenplay. So, sa simula pa lang, sabi ko, 'I don't think I have the right to vote for screenplay and I'll just go with the jury.'

PROMOTING THE PHILIPPINES.
