Highly commended, o runner-up, sa Best News Programme category ng 15th Asian Television Awards 2010 ang "Maguindanao Massacre" coverage ng GMA-7 primetime newscast na 24 Oras.

Ang nagwagi sa kategoryang ito ay ang India At 9 ng CNN-IBN ng India.

Ginanap ang awards ceremony kagabi, December 9, sa Pan Pacific Hotel sa Singapore.

Maliban sa karangalan na iginawad sa 24 Oras, nabigo ang Pilipinas na makapag-uwi ng tropeyo sa ibang kategoryang nominado ito.

Si Dingdong Dantes ay nominado sa kategoryang Best Drama Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role para sa kanyang pagganap sa primetime series ng GMA-7 na Stairway to Heaven.

Pero tinalo siya ni Bowie Lam ng Hong Kong para sa pagganap nito sa Sister Of Pearl.

Highly commended naman sa kategoryang ito si Chang Shan-Wei ng Taiwan para sa The Pioneers.

Si Michael V ay kasama sa listahan ng mga nominado sa Best Comedy Performance by an Actor/Actress para sa weekly comedy series niyang Pepito Manaloto sa GMA-7.

Ang nag-uwi ng tropeyo ay si Chua En Lai ng Singapore para sa The Noose 3.

Highly commended sina Michelle Chong at Alaric Tay ng Singapore para rin sa The Noose 3.

Ang primetime series ng ABS-CBN na Dahil May Isang Ikaw—starring Lorna Tolentino, Jericho Rosales, Kristine Hermosa, Sid Lucero, Karylle,and Gabby Concepcion—ay nominado as Best Drama Series.

Ang nagwagi ay ang Changes ng China, at highly commended naman ang Jin ng Japan.

Sa kategoryang Best Comedy Programme naman nominado ang weekly sitcom ng GMA-7 na Bubble Gang.

Pero ang nanalo rito ay ang The Noose 3 ng Singapore, samantalang highly commended ang Gelanggang Raja Lawak Akhir ng Malaysia.

Ang documentary special ng GMA-7 na Planet Philippines, hosted by Richard Gutierrez, ay nominated as Best Natural History or Wildlife Programme or Docu-Drama.
