"When I was a kid, I was already doing theater. I lived in New York for a while doing musical theater. Then I [auditioned for] American Idol," pagbabalik-tanaw niya.

Nakasama rin siya sa West Side Story with Christian Bautista at Karylle noong 2008. Kasama naman niya si Robert Seña  sa Tales of the Manuvu na ipinalabas sa Cutural Center of the Philippines (CCP) noong 2009. Gumanap din siya bilang "Warner" sa Legally Blonde: The Musical kasama sina Nikki Gil at Nyoy Bolante last year, 2010.

"I was supposed to be part of Rent but I became busy," kwento niya.

Tumigil si Guji sandali na tila nag-isip at sinabing, "I love doing TV... like now I'm in Imortal. Then sana kami ulit ni Kaye for Precious Hearts. I'm waiting for that this year. I enjoy acting I guess, because galing din ako sa theater. "

SINGING GROUP. Bukod sa pag-arte sa teatro at sa harap ng camera, meron pang isang bagay na enjoy gawin si Guji. Ito ay ang pagiging parte ng isang singing group, ang VOIZboys.

Kinuwento niya kung paano nagsimula ang VOIZboys:

"It was actually the vision of Mr. M (Johnny Manahan, Star Magic's big boss). Mr M saw na may potential kami as a group. I know, boy bands medyo died out in the past few years. But I don't consider us a boy band. We are a music group.

"With our age and knowledge—we all have a background in music—I think it is more of a showcase of our talents. Kaya ayun, Mr. M decided to put us together."

Pinaliwanag ni Guji kung bakit ayaw niyang matawag silang boy band: "There is a negative tag sa boy band kasi they don't have talents... puro packaging lang. We have talent and it's only an extension of what we do... we have our own projects ... I still have theater, I still have my band."

Masayang-masaya si Guji dahil bukod sa pagiging parte ng VOIZboys ay marami pa siyang projects.

COMPOSING SONGS.  Isa din sa mga talents ni Guji ay ang pag-compose ng mga kanta.

"Yung mga compositions ko ginamit sa indie films ni Sid Lucero and Christian Moreno as the theme song. It is in Tagalog which was very difficult for me to do. One of the songs I composed was used in Precious Hearts. Right now, I am writing for upcoming artists," sabi niya.

May dalawang albums si Guji na karamihan sa mga kanta ay kanyang isinulat.

Ito ang self-titled album niya na Guji Lorenzana under Ivory Records, at Without Your Love under LuKas Music.
