Naging usap-usapan ang pagyaya through Twitter ng Team Azkals player na si Phil Younghusband na maka-date ang aktres na si Angel Locsin sa Valentine's Day.
Sinagot naman ito ng aktres na may trabaho siya sa Araw ng mga Puso. Pero puwede pa naman daw sa ibang araw. (CLICK HERE to read related story.)
Ang naturang "date invitation" sa Twitter between Phil and Angel ang naging dahilan para magkaroon ng intriga sa pagitan ng eventologist-TV host na si Tim Yap at ng newscaster na si TJ Manotoc.
Ayon kasi sa tweet ni Tim noong Sabado, February 12, matutuloy na raw ang date nina Phil at Angel at magta-target shooting sila.
"Just learned that Phil Younghusband will be going out on a date with Angel Locsin tomorrow. They're gonna go target shooting. Hanep!" (posted by Tim at 7:47 AM Feb 12th via Twitter for iPad)
Kinontra naman ni TJ ang tweet ni Tim at sinabing hindi raw ito totoo, sabi ni Phil sa kanya.
"sorry folks, I just checked w @PhilYHusband and as per him the shooting range date ain't true. hold ur horses!" (posted by TJ at 8:49 AM Feb 12th via Osfoora for iPhone)
At dito na nga nagsimula ang palitan ng tweets nila na pinatulan din ng ibang followers nila.
Pero noong February 13 ay na-sorry din si TJ kay Tim through Twitter.
"Hey tweeps, I spoke to @iamtimyap and have apologized already, this is to apologize online as well. He is not wrong. He heard it from james. Meanwhile Phil denied it to me. So what can we do? Nothing :) let them have their peace as so they wish. Sometimes celebs admit to a few & deny to many. You can tell who is "few" & who is "many" in this situation :) thanks for understanding tim! My apologies again, you don't deserve the stupid hate being thrown your way for this."
TIM CLEARS THE ISSUE. Marami ang naintriga sa palitan ng tweets ng dalawang celebrities sa Twitter kaya nagpaliwanag na si Tim tungkol dito kagabi, February 14, sa showbiz talk show na Tweetbiz, kung saan isa siya sa main hosts along with Lolit Solis.
Kuwento ni Tim, "A little backgrounder, noong isang gabi, Sabado [February 12], I threw a party for the Azkals. So, magkakasama kaming lahat.
"Dumating si James [Younghusband, Phil's brother]. Tinanong ko, 'Where's Phil?' Sabi niya, 'Oh, he's still busy on Twitter because he's asking Angel on Twitter and actually they'll gonna go out tomorrow.' Meaning, noong Linggo [February 13].
"Sabi ko, 'Wow, are they gonna go out on a date?' Sabi niya, 'Yes, they are going out on a date. They are gonna go target shooting.'
"So, twineet ko kaagad na magkakaroon sila ng target shooting. The next day naman, na-excite siguro si TJ Manotoc sa balitang ito at ang nangyari sa kanya, 'I asked Phil, it's not true.' Twineet ni TJ Manotoc."
