May isang taon na rin mula nang dumating ang Brazilian-Japanese model na si Fabio Ide sa Pilipinas para subukan ang modeling at, eventually, pag-aartista rito.
Sabay silang nakilala ng kapwa niya Brazilian-Japanese model na si Daniel Matsunaga, pagkatapos sumikat ng kasamahan din nilang si Akihiro Sato, who already made a mark as an endorser for a clothing brand.
Kuwento ni Fabio, "I came here last January [2010]. But the first time that I really came as a model was in 2006. I was here for three months. And then I left for Japan. It has been isang taon na."
Fabio went back to Brazil last December and spent three weeks there para magbakasyon and spend time with his family.
"Pero ngayon, diretso lang. Hindi ko pa alam kung kailan ako aalis ulit. Ngayon, babalik dito para mag-work. Kasi gusto ko maging magaling na artista dito sa Pilipinas," sabi ni Fabio.
Nakausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Fabio last Friday, February 11, pagkatapos ng launching ng bagong product line ng Watson's sa Makati City.
Ipinagmamalaki rin ni Fabio ang pagkatuto niya ng Filipino at ang mga project na ginagawa niya.
"Marunong na ako magsalita ng konting Tagalog!" bulalas niya.
"I've been doing a lot of events. I have this different shows all the time. I have Comedy Bar, which is a live show. And then there was the sitcom with Yaman ni Lola.
"I'm getting positive things and getting all the good experience show by show. And then, hopefully, I don't know how many years from now I will be here in showbiz, but sana completely magaling na ako."
Ayon pa kay Fabio, hindi siya nai-insecure sa mga nakukuhang shows ng mga kasama niyang sina Akihiro at Daniel.
"I think everybody is doing different things. GMA gives good opportunity for everybody. Everything happens in the right time.
"Of course, I'm also looking for something bigger like a soap opera," pag-amin niya.
"But I cannot complain. I've been so blessed with so many jobs not just on GMA, pero there's mall shows, commercials, and endorsements. So, super masaya ako.
NO VALENTINE'S DATE. Wala naman daw naging Valentine plan si Fabio. He's still single and available, but very committed to his work right now.
