Muling nagbabalik si Richard Gutierrez bilang Teng at Captain Barbell.

Magsisimula nang mapanood ang pagbabalik ni Captain Barbell sa Lunes, March 28, sa primetime ng GMA-7. Kagabi, March 24, sa Cinema 2 ng SM The Block ay nagkaroon ng special screening ang pilot episode nito, na dinaluhan ng buong cast ng Captain Barbell.

Ayon kay Richard, malaking preparasyon ang ginawa niya para sa pagbabalik ng Captain Barbell sa telebisyon.

"Marami pong paghahanda ang ginawa rito. It's actually a long preparation, not only for the creative team, the technical team, and all the actors as well.

"Alam po namin that because of the success of the first Captain Barbell, we have to do a lot of refinement for this one. So, that puts a lot of pressure for all of us. Not only for me but for my director [Dominic Zapata] and creative team, but we knew that we were able to do it. 

"Marami pong paghahanda, marami pong meeting. Marami pong pag-uusap na nangyari, and maraming physical and mental preparations po ang ginawa namin," saad ni Richard sa panayam sa kanya ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sa Gloria Maris restaurant after the screening.

Hindi naman itinatanggi ni Richard na nakakaramdam pa rin siya ng pressure sa tuwing may bago siyang primetime series na magbubukas.

Aniya, "Every time na mag-launch kami ng bagong show, there's always pressure, there's always expectation. Ngayon, siyempre, because of the success of the first one, we are expecting na maging successful din itong pangalawa.

"There's a lot of pressure, I'll be honest. But more than anything else, Direk Dom and I, the writers, we were able to create a show that's today. It's more modern.

"Ginawa namin ang Captain Barbell na panahon sa ngayon and na-capture niya ang character ni Teng, ni Captain Barbell, at marami po tayong kasamang superheroes and supervillains.

"More than the pressure, I feel very excited for Monday. In every show, there's always pressure. So, it's a challenge for us na talagang galingan namin kasi maraming expectation," sabi ng 27-year-old actor.

FIGHT SCENE WITH BOYET. Sa pilot episode ng Captain Barbell, mapapanood na ang matinding banggaan ni Richard bilang Captain Barbell at ni Christopher de Leon bilang si Nero. 

Ayon kay Richard, first time niyang nakatrabaho ang multi-awarded actor.

"It's the first time that I was in one scene with Mr. Christopher de Leon. It was an honor for me to be working with him. 

"Noong unang kaeksena ko po siya, aaminin ko po, kabado talaga ako. Hindi ko po pinapahalata. Mukha lang po akong hindi kabado, pero kinakabahan po ako na si Christopher de Leon po ang nasa harapan ko.
